Premier League Pairs Somerset 03/07/15

Recommended Posts

We won it in a similar manner last year and this place went into meltdown.

although last year there was some doubt/debate as to whether it was the right decision. (which it was on balance in the cold light of day)

This time it seems there was no doubt whatsoever.

No we don't - im amazed there is even a debate to be had here. Brady lifted and went so wide and clearly fell on his own.

Maybe it is time to review the format of the final as it's such a shame to have another fantastic meeting finished with an anti climax.

But just for the record - it was 100% right to exclude Brady in this case.

Well Done nice to see an honest post.

e Up: King, Tungate, Kerr, Worrall

Comments: Tungate falls bend 1 when no one near him but ref decides all4back.

Worrall packed up lap 1. King took Tungate out to the fence

How is that fair. How many riders have fell first bend over throughout the whole history of speedway and been called back all four 4? Whats your answer to that?

Admire you honesty mate.

Like a lot from Sheffield we were rooting for the Somerset boys after the help they have given us with the cover Simon Stead.

Disappointing for you tonight, but I still think that Somerset can go on to win the League.

Congratulations to the Witches.

Failing to see your point here - Tungate should of been excluded in that race, so the ref got that one wrong and got the final right. Brady lifted so bad he went so wide and eventually hit the fence even though he tried his hardest to hang onto it. No Ipswich rider was near him at all.

As has already been said, two wrongs don't make a right. I think bar two people in the stadium everyone else no matter how disapointted accepted the decision in the final.

Not just the pairs! End of October last year might ring a bell.

Let's hope for your sake Wolbert is more at the races in October than he was tonight. Riding 3 races on someone else's bike in an event like this is ridiculous.

Well done on the witches win :) and I'm glad Najjer talks some sense I notice the other guy has failed to point out grajczonek riding his bike completely inside the white lines in a race and getting away with it ;)

perhaps you think the ref shouldve stopped the re run and given Worrall a second chance - after all riders have EFs all the time. Not having a re run is not fair and robbing a team of a chance. (thats sarcasm by the way)

So Tungate is the only rider to be pulled back for all four then is he???? No loads of riders have. So why is Brady the exception then??? Is it not first bend bunching?? Why should Ipswich get a call in their favour that won them the trophy that they did earlier???? Edited by Brummie Rebel

Agreed! The engines he has been riding were at the tuners he sent them back but they have went missing somewhere in the post and haven't got back yet.
