Totally underwhelmed so far. 12.5 points to play with. Let's see how they're used

Badly would be my guess...

Plenty of moaning here about the 5 names. On the budget the club had who would YOU have picked.

Klindt could be a very good pick.

I reckon Lanham will be a good signing - at least at home as a second string.

Need another big hitter for this team to be any good though

Impossible without knowing the budget

With the points left to fill it looks to me like they could still be haggling with Rob Branford and the Lamberts.

So the 5 riders named.

Kennett

Klindt

Lanham

Lykke

Morley.

Don't see quite what the negativity is about?

Kennett is a top PL number 1

Lykke had a good year last year and can definitely up his average.

Lanham had a beauty at Rye last year and will be dependable

Klindt is the gamble but has bags of ability when applied

Morley always a cert as an asset and the best option.

Fingers crossed some new blood is brought in for the final two places but with 12.5 to play with will it be 8/4 7/5 or a 6/6 split? Either way doesn't look too gloomy.

Letting NBJ go suggests the plan is for a big hitter and a reserve, plus Klindt has been announced as a heatleader.

Lanham will be good in the pits but it's 5-10 years too late signing him.

In Morley we've arguably got the best three pointer but if he's got Maassen or Bowen with him there's huge pressure, especially away. Has to be Branford IMO.

It will be interesting to see how Klindt copes with the tight Rye House track as he struggles with Monmore Green which is not as demanding.

Come back Len! All is forgiven!

Boxall and Mear next?! :D

If Robert Lambert comes back then there will be no place for Mear, Boxall or Bowen for that matter. Points used so far, 29.98, add 8.34 for Lambert then just 4.18 for the final rider.

Hawkins available on under 3.50.......

Just don't pull him out of his 4th ride if he's having a crap meeting otherwise he'll throw his toys out of the pram, refuse tacticals and then quit!!

amazed klindt is back in pl for 2016

On that average I think he's a very good signing for Rye!

May not be a thrill merchant, but he can be so so quick when in front and he'll put weight on that average IMO which is the name of the game.

Kennett is similar to King, awesome PL number 1 few if any better than those two.

You'll get dependable solid scoring from Lanham too and he's a great team man so I don't think it's as bad as some of you are making out.

If they get the last two right then it'll be a good team.

Actually, Leigh added over a point to his average in 2015 and achieved almost 6.5 during his short time with Scunthorpe riding @ 5.
