I wonder if Zagar and Doyle will be??

No meetings in Poland so no reason why they shouldn't be?

They will fly in from Berlin, I'm flying in from a Polish Airport.

I presume Zagar is missing today as see that Chris Harris is now riding for Belle Vue instead of grass track.

How's the weather up in Manchester today

Matej was fit enough to carry on and win last nights GP, in my book he should be fit enough to honour his commitment to Belle Vue and their fans.

I wonder if he had any intention on riding today as its been arranged so quickly it's a shame as I'm sure that he would have got a good welcome after his Gorzow victory.

That's good that the weather may hold out for this just trying to decide whether I want to do the M25-M1-M6 motorway battle would have come up on the train apart from stupid engineering works

Agree totally.Although its normally the day after when the adrenalin isn't pumping that you feel the full affects.

I'm just peed off because I was looking forward to seeing Harris at the poacher today.

It was obvious he was in some discomfort last night, you could see it when he was choosing his gates for the semi and final. As most of us know, after relatively minor bangs and falls it is usually the next day that you feel the full affects and Matej's crash was not minor.

Harris should be ok as a guest. I'm more concerned about the loss of Steve Worrall and track specialist Garrity guesting for Auty. However, if Nicholls and Cook ride as they did on Monday we should be ok. The points difference at reserve could keep the scores close.

Very harsh opinion that. I would think that Matej is feeling very second hand today, when all his aches and pains that will be far more noticeable the day after, added to the fact that he will not get much time for any treatment or physio prior to coming back to the UK.

Does the rule re Guests not apply to your No1, as Chris only rode for us last Monday ? Not that I am complaining as he always tries and is entertaining around Belle Vue.

I imagine Zagar is feeling very secondhand this morning. It was a nasty crash.

The 7 day rule doesn't count if guesting for a number 1.

With Belle Vue's recent refuse to let riders guest, I hope both The Aces and Robins are willing to help Coventry out with guests for Kylmakorpi this week as Coventry have been very good with helping other teams out with guests this year, esp Swindon

I eventually settled for car to Banbury and train from there !

Thanks for clearing that up.

To an extent I agree that not lending riders to your nearest Play-Off competitors is right, it is still a bit of a joke with speedway that you can win matches with a team full of Guest ringers.

I may have missed it, but I do not recollect anything officially in print from Belle Vue saying they will not loan riders. I would imagine with Coventry assured of a Play-Off place that BV would in this case not object, especially with you lending us Chris.

Looks like BV will need a guest on Monday from a report on the official site re Zagar's injuries.

I suppose that it will be R/R then, and the inevitable loss for BV. Never mind, it will give the long suffering Wolves supporters something to cheer.
