lucifer sam 3,954 Posted August 31, 2015 Congratulations to Scunny on finally winning 3 consecutive home meetings on the trot this season, lets hope you can make it even more, and All The Best for the rest of the season. And we will see you in the Play Offs. Oh yeah sorry forgot your not in them this season. Meow!! Fair dos, though, Spinny, you have had the best of Scunny this season, although it's still pretty satisfying to know 9 out of last 10 league matches between the two clubs have been won by the Scorps. All the best Rob
June 203 Posted August 31, 2015 A huge well done to all concerned for getting the racing on. The rain we had during the morning was only light, but that heavy shower as we were all entering the stadium I thought would have made it impossible, however the track wasn't bad. credit due to all riders who raced and under the circumstances and made it a good meeting For the 2nd meeting the track was decent and actually got to be good with the track was drying fast. Some cracking racing from the youngsters.....well done to you all! . Congratulations to the winner Jack Parkinson Blackburn.
Albert 304 Posted August 31, 2015 Wasn't pretty early doors, so credit to both sides for riding through those tricky conditions, particularly in those earlier heats. As the track dried, the quality of racing did improve greatly. Garrity and Bellego certainly provided the entertainment for the visitors...whilst all the Scunny boys all rode pretty well, I guess the contribution by the experienced pair of Lanham and Pijper was worthy of added praise. I thought after Tigers 5-1 in heat 12 that they would most likely go on and win it...but fair play to the Scorpions, they came good just when we needed them to. The MLRC was ridden in far better conditions... thoroughly enjoyable meeting, those kids were a credit to the MDL. Congratulations to Jack Parkinson Blackburn on his hard earned win.
Hel'n'Back 146 Posted August 31, 2015 Totally enjoyed the meetings even though we were totally covered in shale in our stand, which was hilarious! Thought the MDLRC was the better meeting once the track had dried out, well done Jack Parkinson-Blackburn, you are a star in the making
Charlieboy 412 Posted September 1, 2015 Well done to scunny track staff to get the meeting on,Ithink scunny lads wanted it more than us early on which was probably understandable due to all the injuries weve had.Bellego and Garritty were very good value, andre and paco put plenty effort in.Mellgren lost points in one race and josh wasn't his usual self.As for klindt rode a cracking race when he won and then was very poor in his others ???? Disappointed after getting the 5-1 in heat 12,really fancied us to go on and win then we had 2 bad races.Hope all the lads will be fired up for the play offs.
