Can't disagree there but come on if this was something out of the ordinary I could see the point in moaning about it but let's face it this is custom and practice so no need to keep havin a hissy fit

Why did Scunthorpe ride a N L guest last night in place of Pijper and tonight a P L guest something not right

Cant see how you can accuse Lewy of acting like a child.

He is standing up for what he thinks is right and asking for a rule to be fairly and consistently enforced - thats all.

Too often teams (all teams at times) look at how a rule can be bypassed or manipulated and unless someone takes a stand they get away with it.

Comments like ' it happens all the time' ' its only practice' 'he can be ok the day after' 'riders often pick and choose' dont make it right.

Scunthorpe dont do fair and consistent, very childish bunch up their sitting on the track, cheating, personal insults grow up the rules are their to be followed not abused only children break the rules and push boundaries, gladly shake theos hand but I will ne gentle as hes such a delicate little flower !

perhaps they took the cheap option with the thought it wouldnt affect the result anyway.

It was something like that I would suggest getting someone to ride who was always going to be there in one capacity or another is a good business decision

Injured. Legitimately.

Davies tried to put him through the fence last night and almost succeeded!

Replacing your no 1 rider with a N L guest cheap option says little for Pijper. Your 2 assesed riders will be 4 point riders when completed required meetings so Pijper is top rider.Important meeting for Plymouth my opinion Scunthorpe at the fiddle

This meeting, together with the one tomorrow at Rye House - weather permitting - are probably the most significant meetings in the Devil's modern history. It would be nice to think that there was a level playing field. I understand it is important to the Scorpions in what might (but hopefully won't) be their final home meeting, but it would be a great shame were the rules to be interpreted 'freely'.
