Presumably speedway stills generates considerable coffers for spedeworth not just in stadium rent but food and drink sales. And I guess that if they replaced speedway with extra stock car meetings they wouldn't get that extra rent. Also I guess that not every stock car meeting is full to the rafters just the big events.

£10 for each one wrong then....

Maybe Speedworth themselves will take over The Wtiches and have a "Speedway" person in charge of running the side, they will be able to offset the running costs of the team against their own fiscal activities, and as said before, the potential revenue from food and drink sales etc. as well as exploring additional sponsorship revenues could make it an option.

Also, if Speedworth own the Witches then they would be able to sell their Hospitality units per meeting to local businesses for Speedway only - not sure if the units at the moment allow those who have them to watch literally anything at Foxhall - but splitting them could turn over more revenue.

At present Speedworth get Rent & Beverage Sales

If they took control, they will lose Rent - potentially gain Sponsorship, Advertisnig, Hospitality, Ticket sales, Merchandise and maybe Sky money ;) Also they will be able to cross-promote the Speedway alongside their other events

Rent cannot be worth a lot if the Witches are still in business today, even if operating at break even.
