That year was an exception to the rule, the year where nothing went right no matter how many riders we used. Every other year in the last 15 have been very good. Bjarne was a good bloke, and didn't deserve the flack he got. But in the main that season the crowds were ok, they've always been ok, since Matt took over. Bjarne rode mid track and was being passed inside and out & deserved it, Having said that he was a godsend in the poor years when we only had Bjarne or nobody. Bloody awful that was. question: if i would of said to you last year rick frost is going to sponsor poole and peterboroughs riders will be in the poole lineup you'd of laughed it off... weird how things can change..... You need to bury your head in that avatar of yours Not sure what things have changed. Poole winning again hasnt changed. Matt and Middlo still running things hasnt changed. New sponsors in Readypower but nothing funny in that. If. Sponsor wants to allow his assets to be usd by the club he is sponsoring it makes complete sense. Doubt too much will change in 2016 either. Really funny that Coventry still bleat about fireworks and cold showers from god knows how long ago on the distant past. Mind you they havent had to much to cheer about since then have they?☺️ As we all know it was to do with that Trump guy, who nearly ended Coventry Speedway the following year. When Swindon won the league at Poole there were certainly champagne and fireworks for the Robins. But 2010 is so yesterday and almost ancient history. I only know 2 Trumps. One lives in the U.S and the other like you mention Steve. And they are both clowns. Cov won fair and square in 2010, but the appalling attitude of Cecil and his moron meant that there were no fireworks until the sad pilfering Pirates won the tin pot trophy the following year..
