wants to go EL/Poland route a la Cook it's rumoured.

From what i have heard He has been bought by a El side who might have been moving night (to a friday) but that's not happening any more so i would expect Sam to sign on again for next year.

Would still miss at least 6 Friday fixtures then?

And hope there are no other fixture clashes on Thursdays for instance.

Given Monarchs history IMO if the EL club has priority he won't be at Edinburgh unless there is no alternative. Would explain in some ways the silence & the rumours ;)

Perhaps the thought of losing 3 of the 4 top scorers is causing a rethink of their principles?

I'm going to take a rough stab at Edinburgh team going on who has signed for other teams and who is left.

1.Masters

2.Mark Riss

3.Ryan Fisher

4.Erik Riss

5.Kevin Wolbert

6.Max Clegg

7.Not Sure as there are many possibilities

Why do people keep mentioning Mark Riss?

Valentin Grobauer would be a better choice.

Kai Huckenbeck would be an even better choice.

And even better still Michael Hartel.

And that's just Germans

will there be enough towels to go on the sunbeds with all those Germans . then again , when was the last time the sun shone in Edinburgh ?

Just as well your not in charge with that team. ;) In all serious though don't think we will sign fisher or the other Riss. The fish ain't the rider he used to be when we first signed him and there are better riders that the other Riss on a five point average.

That's a pity we were sure that the Fisher stories were true but I'm sure you no best. Agree that signing mark would be a bit of a rissk ;)

Not looking good for the Monarchs team building.

The loss of Cook is huge

To then lose a rider just below top class in the league like Masters (only Cook, Stead and King better in my opinion) would be huge

And to lose arguably the best scoring second string in the league just tops it off.

Some real rabbits need pulling from hats or this is a season of struggle

2003-2015 has given Edinburgh 5 PL titles... They've pulled a few rabbits out before and I'm sure they'll pull out some more!
