mtommo 39 Posted April 28, 2016 So after the rainoff at Kings Lynn Poole move on to Monmore Green on Monday to take on the Wolves who have started the season on the front foot. They could well be dark horses this season and it will take a monumental effort from any team this season to come away from with any points here. Poole hope to welcome back Kyle Newman after a spell in hospital with a groin injury. We will have to wait and find out if he is well enough over the weekend. The Poole lineup has now changed and also the riding order. With Ellis up in the team Newman is now joined by Brady Kurtz. I am unsure whether Kurtz has ever ridden Monmore or not. Perhaps a Wolves fan will know. A very tough and exciting encounter. I shall be there weather permitting. Forecast is for rain in tnhe morning to leave a dry afternoon and evening. This will proabably change. With Kurtz and Buckowski likely to struggle here, and it far from being Holders favourite track, I am looking to a score of 48-42 Or close to it. Thoughts? brady Kurtz has rode at wolves after a meeting there a couple of seasons ago and looked good
mdmc82 2,878 Posted April 28, 2016 Should be a home win
Starman2006 2,355 Posted April 28, 2016 brady Kurtz has rode at wolves after a meeting there a couple of seasons ago and looked good Brady will adapt to most tracks, but this is a bit more specialist. Its a bit different unsder race conditions.
Gavan 5,050 Posted April 28, 2016 Blimey, being a stuanch Ippo fan thought you would have gone to Foxhall tonight, or are you staying at home to wash your hair... Bet your glad you didn't, its not quite going as you planned... I didn't go tonight because as ive said about a thousand times I live an hour from the track and I work and I have a family so I pick and choose my meetings thanks for your concern. And no we lost due to the fact that our best rider this season fell off 3 times and out other heat leader only scores after his first 2 rides 2 weeks running. You win some you lose some but it doesn't concern me as the sport as a whole is more important then wether we win the league.
Fourentee 987 Posted April 28, 2016 (edited) I am unsure whether Kurtz has ever ridden Monmore or not. Scored 11 in the 2013 Golden Hammer to be equal fourth, I believe, being one of only two riders to beat Steve Worrall. Edit: Having checked, the other one was Kyle Newman! Gavan 5,050 Posted April 28, 2016 Starman please dont bring your continuous battles with Gavan onto every thread. We get pages of the same old bitching dragging every thread down. Be better if you bitched at each other elsewhere. correct. I fancy Wolves to win this, same as I fancied Poole to win at Coventry and Poole to win at Lynn Steve its not any batte, clearly he doesn't have a sense of humour. You've also had a go though. Clearly he just likes to wind up anything Poole. Wolves by 4-5, the loss of Kyle making the difference. No I have a sense of humour, if you read my post about mystery illness and injury I was referring back to the Eastbourne match a few years ago. Try for once having a bit of banter. Oh maybe you get the ache because I think Wolves will win Mate if he gets of my case by jumping on every post that i put up im happy to leave him alone. Problem is its not just me, and he cannot resist it. I made the first post on here which you jumped on!! I will then reply to you as I see fit

lino wolf 128 Posted April 28, 2016 Cant see the pirates getting anything from this !! Think the wolves can win around 52-40 ish !! If Newman is still out look for robson to come in as he goes really well round the green !!

If Newman is still out look for robson to come in as he goes really well round the green !! Robson is not an eligible guest. It has to be somebody below Newmans average on the draft or somebody with a lower PL average who hadn't already got an EL average or in a EL 1-

mdmc82 2,878 Posted April 29, 2016 (edited) but robbo fitted those requirements ie lower pl avg.But he already has a EL average so doesn't count. Had to be a rider on draft or with no previous EL average. Fair as its meant to be to develop British riders, not use those with lots of EL experience already. From 1st May Robson has a higher PL average than Newman as Kyle's has dropped again. Edited April 29, 2016 by mdmc82
Skidder1 7,637 Posted April 29, 2016 (edited) So Paul Starke would or would not be eligible then, as he's lower than Kyle Newman on the EL list (Tier 2) and back as a EDR from Monday and lower than Kyle on the PL averages too??
