Glasgow V Redcar (ko Cup) 22 May 2016

Recommended Posts

Agreed. Win the cup for the first time in 114 years and the first thing some think of do is try and fight the opposition, strange bunch.

Wanting to fight fan's is one thing but assaulting opposition player's & staff is just not on think in the cold light off day a fair few are regretting there actions as names & phone numbers have been circulated on public forums this could get messy for those identified.

They done the deed though and will pay the consequences but anyway you enjoy your day on Saturday Mr B .

I know it's been a while, but could someone who was at this meeting check if Nielsen replaced Payne in heat 14 please? I'm inclined to believe Paulco, who did the updates and says he did, but the official scorecard says he didn't, so if anyone could corroborate I'd be really grateful. :)

I've got it as Barker from Andersen from Garcia then Payne on my score sheet but may have lost interest by that stage and missed Michael's or Jim's line-up change notification.

According to my copy of the Speedway Star, issue dated 28th May 2016:

"Heat 14: Barker, Anderson, Garcia, Nielsen, 58.4 (57-26)"

The scorecard in the same issue of Speedway Star:

GLASGOW 60

R. Lawson 3,3,3,2*,2 13+1

N. Lunna 1,1,3,1 6

R. Worrall 1,2*,2,3 8+1

B. Barker 3,3,0,3 9

A. Summers 3,2*,2,3,1* 11+3

F. Garcia X,3,3,1 7

D. Ayres 3,1,1,1 6

REDCAR 29

L. Bjerre X,R,1,0 1

J. Bukhave 2,1,2,0,0 5

Rider replacement - Hugh Skidmore

J. Andersen 2,0,2,2,2,0 8

D. Bellego 2,2,1,3,1,3 12

S. Nielsen 2,0,1,0,0 3

L. Payne X,0,0,0 0

Hope that's of help :)

Yeah, your hunch is correct, seems you just missed Michael's or Jim (MBE) line-up change notification. :)
