A ORLOV 8,628 Posted September 14, 2016 (edited) Swindon take on a select team made up of EL and PL riders for this home meeting http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2766 This looks to be a good meeting following on from the good NL meeting last week and the disapointment of the result at Belle Vue. Just remember this could be our last home meeting here but no nicking any more shale just in case we are back in 2017. A ORLOV 8,628 Posted September 15, 2016 Possible thunderstorms for cast My reports just show a very light shower at about 8. Weather at the moment bright and sunny.

auntie doris 2,342 Posted September 15, 2016 No one is going apart from yourself, possibly the final Blunsdon Abbey roar could be a whisper. At least there won't be any queues at the back straight bogs.

I will take a megaphone and run around, but am getting a bit concerned at lack of posts.

A ORLOV 8,628 Posted September 15, 2016 Season ticket holders get in free? Have no idea, someone has asked the question on twitter but I have not seen an answer.
auntie doris 2,342 Posted September 15, 2016 Pity that when the Kilbs memorial began there was a strong field watched by thousands not hundreds. He deserves better.

thecoombdog 2,367 Posted September 15, 2016 Just been tweeted, No Thanks mate. Will save my cash for a Somerset meeting before the season is out. Said goodbye to the old girl last season at the official farewell!
Anzum 250 Posted September 15, 2016 Missing this one and with weather forecast for Lakeside decided to give that a miss. So could be my only live speedway left this year will be at OTA.
Gresham78 215 Posted September 15, 2016 Is anyone going to what looks like a very good meeting tonight, where are all the posts. http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2770 you say it looks like a good meeting Orlov but is it? In reality it's little more than just a practice match for Nick and Sedgie to give them a bit more track time. At full price I'm struggling to get any enthusiasm for this. Crazy robin 2,963 Posted September 15, 2016 Ronnie Russell as a team manager, oh my word what a laugh that is. When you see the Swindon team without Jason it is a miracle that it came close to a play off place & shows how weak British speedway is.
