brandonbee48 1,194 Posted October 3, 2016 Four quick 5-1s on Wedneaday and we'll have a cracker! Well done the Wolves. Alan.

stevebrum 6,826 Posted October 3, 2016 Just goes to show if the aces turned up and tried. Stand up Cookie for showing how good thus track is. Class race on a class track. Unbelievable 18 point lead, could never had dreamed of such a win against the strongest side all year. Top class performance from the boys tonight.
brandonbee48 1,194 Posted October 3, 2016 They usually only show small sections of the crowd to be fair. Good mixture here tonight but definitely more old than young overall. Speedway really needs to advertise itself better. I think it's the price more than anything in the UK.
Bagpuss 10,794 Posted October 3, 2016 (edited) Superb by Cook. I'm a big fan of Monmore Green and think it's a great race track for a little un but it's proved itself to be a trick track tonight with the best team in the league being completely caught out and gate three providing a huge advantage. Â Wouldn't put it past Belle Vue winning the second leg by 20 but it'll be a tall order. Edited October 3, 2016 by Gordon Bennett
Steve Shovlar 10,439 Posted October 3, 2016 Great night for the wolves, one hand on the EL trophy, it will take a minor miracle for Belle Vue to pull this back. Both hands. Game over. Absolutely no way back whatsoever.
pawel115 251 Posted October 3, 2016 Bring on Wed maybe it wasn't the most interesting match but it still beats watching someone kick a ball for 90 min.
stevebrum 6,826 Posted October 3, 2016 No Tai in heat 15...... oh dear, the ego will be deflated now. Â it's about the team, not one man. As proved tonight. Â Have Wolves made a cockup by not having Woffinden in heat 15? No.
g13webb 4,254 Posted October 3, 2016 Sure was a real master class by Wolves tonight. Has made the 2nd leg a mear formality. Adams was very impressive. He outclassed Mark Lemon in tactics, in attitude and personality. Top man.....

Wolfsbane 12,944 Posted October 3, 2016 If we don't defend that lead then the Aces will thoroughly deserve it. Â BW, looks like the sequence is in the bin!!

noggin 1,391 Posted October 3, 2016 Belle Vue what a let down, reminds me of 2009, when Swindon lost the plot in first leg, well rode by ex robin Howarth.
