Maybe he can go to another team to reduce his average!!

As Matt Ford said in the paper because of the new rules, if Holder were to score a 12-point maximum every meeting, effectively we would be giving away half a point in our team-building structure.

If Chris scored a 15 point maximum it wouldn't be & that is what people are failing to see from these new so called averages.

They amount to points per meeting really.

It sucks they can jus change your average like that and put you out of a job that easily 1f60f.png cheers @SpeedwayGB 1f44f-1f3fc.png1f44f-1f3fc.png1f44f-1f3fc.png.

This post just shows Holder wants to ride for Poole and his disappointment. Anyone else feel this AGM is like appointing Trump. NO consideration for Poole, Wolves and Swindon.

Doesn't say he wants to ride for Poole and Poole only. Let's see if Belle Vue want him?? Bit rich coming from someone who couldn't be arsed to support British speedway in 2013.

I respect this view. He is blue and blue through. I imagine he won't go Belle Vue lives in ringwood for a reason. Yes in 2013 we had perhaps the greatest rider in Elite League History ride for us.

Why Wolves Poolebolton?

3rd richest club simply.

Very dark times for the top division of British speedway. The promoters have sent a clear message to the public and to the riders that top division speedway in the UK can no longer deliver anything close to a top division experience. The sort of teams the SGB Premiership are putting together couldn't even compete with First League in Poland, besides Extraliga!

I really hope the promoters learn a lesson from this year and enough of them have the sense to see that the product and the promotion must be drastically improved.

Every year the same thing. The promoters cut costs, the quality drops and the attendances drop. Anybody with an ounce of business acumen can see this is a trend that cannot possibly be sustained. These latest cuts in quality stand only to push more fans away and stand absolutely no chance of attracting new fans through the turnstiles.

Not wanting to disagree with Ford's proven team selection, but to dismiss Chris Holder from the team he has to be mad. Any other team would jump at the chance of having him in there team. Holder is the epitome of a top No rider who never lets you down. So what if his average is higher, whatever his score is I would take him everytime....

Send him to Saddlebow Road...... He'd be made most welcome....

the article also says tried to tempt a danish rider back to these shores but to many meetings in denmark weds nights

It's also worth noting that the only kind of riders we're likely to tempt over are those looking for a pay cheque or those with no experience. Any riders that are serious about progressing their careers or competing in the Grand Prix's won't waste their time in a league that offers no competition.
