Ipswich 2017

Recommended Posts

So Lakeside are the first 2016 team to drop out of the EL for 2017.

Watch this space then, but looks as if the "rumours" at Hoddesdon in August may have some basis now.

Somerset and Rye House to go up, but not Glasgow.

Could be interesting as don't Poole and Somerset normally share riders?? Or is it Somerset and Swindon?? I bet Somerset put together a pretty decent team cos riders will want to ride the track, could the same be said of Rye house??, not so sure

Nicolas king and Kennett at Rye???

Listening to Jon Cook's interview they're hoping to run PL if not NL depending on a few factors.

Would be great from an Ipswich point of view to welcome them in to the PL as we built up a healthy little rivalry in our EL days.

A Good Friday fixture against Lakeside would do nicely.

A new name for the league

Rye & Somerset go up

40 pt team limit

Still have to have 3 pt young Brit

Only 4 teams in playoffs

36 league matches vs 24 last year

I don't know enough about team building to tell how life changing a 2.5pt reduction on the limit will be...

Let the Team Building Speculation commence!

2 home 2 away = 36 meetings in league

A shocking error in my math, fixed now!

Also, sorry, I pressed report on your post rather than quote...! Having a mare.

So King can ride for Ipswich after all so that's 1 and 7 sorted (King and Hume), just fill in 2-6.

Spot on got to get them two signed on asap .

No trips to watch the Witches at Ryehouse this year then Baldy.

36 League matches how will these be made up of then?

40 point average will not make a huge difference.

Do anyone know who will be competing in our league whatever its name is?

King and Hume are a must next season so cl get them signed pronto.

Will Hume be a 2 point man as he didn't achieve a 3?? and welcome to the championship

Hume on a 3 mate, any rider that didn't achieve a 3 aka Josh Bailey 2.05 comes in on that but nothing under 2, all new NL still come in on a 3
