Really poor place to have it ..let's hope riders come back safe on this dangerous track .

What a stupid thing to say. Isn't Speedway itself dangerous? Or moto x, or any other motor sport!!! Or any road with traffic hurtling along! Clot.

Have always believed, the format makes this competition into a lottery of a single race winner. If we are to have semis and finals why not add those points to the ones they scored in the meeting. We spend the whole meeting watching races that mean nothing other than getting a place in a one race final.... Surely it would be more beneficial to the rider, to the fans and the competition if all the races were important and counted toward the overall winner...

 

The fact that Lambert has gone through the card twice in recent years and still lost, makes this format a joke....

will also make him more determined to win this yrs final!,looking forward to the meeting and hope all the poole fans really support tonites meeting would be great for the youngsters to perform to a big crowd

Got to agree with you there GRW123. Myself I would like to see the same format up to the final but then the points of 6 4 and 2 added to those riders 1 to 20 totals. Would keep interest going to the end without it becoming the lottery you have described.

 

But probably would be unpopular with many who seem to just not like any sort of change.

Hope Ellis has a good meeting it's a great opportunity to really get his season right on track and his season at Poole must put him amongst the front runners but aside from Lambert Bates and Bewley there's also plenty of spoilers miss one gate run a last early part of meeting and it's kind of panic stations a bit!

Easy for Lambert, IMO more pressure on him tonight than he as ever experienced.
