So Holder missing fours tomorrow, Newcastle on August 13th and Scunthorpe on August 20th. If Peterborough want a facility for the latter two, surely it can only be granted via a 28-day-ban?

All best

Rob

if he is missing with Peterborough's blessing they shouldn't be allowed a facility and should compensate the home team on both occasions for potential loss of income because the opposition has a weak team

Peterborough should be made to go with 3 riders and BWD at reserve only able to replace those if they chose and not cover Holders rides ar all.

To be honest i think Peterborough should be kicked out, one semi run with just 4 teams, the promotion should then compensate the other riders for loss of income

Did Magnus Zetterstrom not get banned for riding in Poland instead of representing Somerset in the PLRC at Sheffield ? We're just a joke now .

Seems pretty straightforward:-

16.1 Fixtures shall take priority as follows:

FIM SGP, SWC, SGP Qualifying Meetings, FIM U21 World Speedway Championship Meetings, FIM Europe U21 Championship, British Championships (Senior, Junior), BSPA Shared and Fee Events, Official Competitions: 1. SGB Premiership; 2. SGB Championship; 3. National Development League.

NB. Non-Official Competitions have no priority over any of the above.

A Rider must be released to take part in a higher priority Meeting, unless he is “Doubling Up”, in which case the priority for a clash of Official Meetings is as follows: -

a) The Original Fixture if there is a clash with a re-arranged Fixture

B) 1st priority to the owner of the rider

c) 2nd priority to the previous season club

d) 3rd priority to the league in which the owner club is a member.

16.1.2 A Transfer during the Season does not change this priority.

16.1.3 It is the duty of the Staging Promotion to ensure that all Fixtures are completed and in the event of it being necessary to re-arrange a Team Fixture, the Promoter(s) shall mutually agree a re- staging date. Should they fail to agree the sole authority to specify a date and/or venue for the re-staging shall lie with the BSPA MC.

16.1.4 In all Events that count towards a Championship, the Regulations must be adhered to and any Team or Individual found in breach of the Regulations will be liable to a penalty including the loss of League Points or removal from a Competition.

Supplementary Regs.

Draw and Riding Order:

Will be made by the BSPA.

Each Team must include their Top 4 by MA, with a Reserve being optional. If a reserve is named, then he must be the lowest by MA from the 5 selected riders. Actual Team line ups for the Semi Final must be declared 5 days prior to the event. For the Final, line ups can be changed, but must be declared within Fifteen (15) minutes of completion of the Semi Final.

Are you allowed to bring your own food into the stadium? Taking the family along to this and expecting a long day!

We always do. The food outlets there are ridiculously expensive

So does mean that Peterborough could be thrown out?

Let's just hope that the BSPA grow a set and take the appropriate action against Holder and Peterborough. Its the least the fans deserve.
