SUPERACE 440 Posted September 26, 2017 Disgusting from Aces fans on facebook. Saying it "couldn't happen to a nicer bloke" than Thorssell in a sarcastic way and promising our riders loads of abuse on Wednesday. Classy bunch. Yes not acceptable that but not sure wolves fans can say anything, time after time of going to wolves the crowd are shocking, never known a crowd to cheer so much at riders falling off and the laughing. Glass houses and all that. Ffs.... What Speedway needs desperately is a large crowd and atmosphere... As long as riders don't get hurt who gives a toss if someone cheers when one of the opposition go down..? No one cheered Thorssell as you could see it looked serious.. So what if it gets a 'bit heated' in the stands, as long as no violence is involved let there be a few choice differences of opinion be shared... To get away fans at a match makes a change.. Speedway is about adrenaline fuelled excitement... When, for once, we get some at a meeting people moan about it!! They did cheer when tungate came off until they realised JT had come off as well. If speedway needs cheering when a riders comes off to give atmosphere then it's time to give up. please don't suggest I have called anyone that name. Of course you have your opinion as well as you are entitled too. It's just not one that has any validity. sorry LL, I was agreeing with your comment and forgot to add the multi posters original one as it's clear that's nonsense anyway. Apologies. Thank god I have meet some great Aces fans because some of the travelling fans are the most abusive I've had the displeasure of meeting. So hostile and aggressive. This forum is evidence of that anyway. Distasteful comments but not unexpected, sadly. Typical let's ignore the abuse our fans give meeting after meeting and throw stones elsewhere. So why the huge cheer when he crashed? It is clear on the telly. They cheered tungate crashing before realising their own had come off as well.

Phil The Ace 2,860 Posted September 26, 2017 Loving the holier than thou BV fans. Don't mention the shouting out when thorsell is still being treated on track... 1 person and we shut her up and bollocked her
Perton Wolf 396 Posted September 26, 2017 I see Monmore is a terrible track now because a few Belle Vue riders over did it around the bends. Surely they should realise that it's not the NSS and adapt accordingly? As said, not Fricke's kind of track but he was able to adapt well and didn't go blasting into the bends like you can at the NSS. Tungate on the other hand....a speed merchant with clearly very little skill when it comes to controlling the bike.

SUPERACE 440 Posted September 26, 2017 I haven't seen anything for them to gloat about , Monmore is a far better racetrack Is trying too hard ,with insuffiicient knowledge and too much bias on here a crime Better than the dog track absolutely, better than The NSS lol not in a million years.
Ivanhoe 24 Posted September 26, 2017 But the facts speak for themselves. The track is seriously dangerous. Yes the Wimborne road track is safer so stop trying to deflect the subject. Last night clearly showed Monmore to be, as Flange puts it, a horror track. Carnage. Why so many fallers if it is safe? How many falls at Blunsdon last night ? Comparative with Monmore Green by the looks of it and generally overriding as it was at Monmore Green. Most of the Belle Vue team managed to get around OK except for Cook and Tungate, who was plain dangerous, out of control all night.

Phil The Ace 2,860 Posted September 26, 2017 Do you know if he was on his Polish engine? Was some rumour that he was bringing it over for the playoffs. He has brought It over but can't imagine he would use it at monmore. Be stupid to if he did. Bjerre used his polish engine

rjsj9803 326 Posted September 26, 2017 The SRA track of the year awards at Wolves record is Winner 2006 2009 2010 2012 2015 Second 2007 2011 3013 2014 2016 Third 2008 Not too shabby voted top 3 in 11 years and top 2 in 9/10 in the last decade 😁 So if Monmore is such a 'horror' track why do the guys that ride there seem to vote pretty much opposite? Just a thought.

Just a thought. Takes skill to ride but is always well prepared, unlike the monstrosity down at Wimbourne Road which is full of holes and non stop bouncing around the bends. CB252 1,376 Posted September 26, 2017 Good news is, Lakeside will be back next year. That should ensure that the top stars come flocking back to the UK.
