are you sure always thought mitch was australian with british ansestrey 

thats why it took so long last year to get his average confirmed

even if he is british born  he should never have been on a 2 point average as hes been riding for years at this level

so if we got lets say if we got a rider like peter kildermand to apply and get british citizen clubs could sign him on a 2 point average

no way should davey be classed as a 2 pointer hes rode in this league too much and previously held a average above the limit that was set

Sorry to disappoint you scaramanga but Davey's delay in signing last year was due to him awaiting his British passport. 

So, it's unarguable that he is in fact a British citizen. Of course, he also has Aussie citizenship too, but the fact that he had UK citizenship made his 2 point average perfectly correct.

That said, in my view 2 points was too high as he is and always has been utter pants. That was ably proven by the lad himself as others of a similar average (and much less experience than him) at the start of the season all improved as the season went on while he didn't.

Thank the Lord he won't be back this coming season.

He started the season on a 3.00 average actually.

and boosred that final figure to around 3.36 or something like that . something tells me mitch will be back to pay the monarchs a visit in 2018 !
