ReadingRacer2017 159 Posted August 1, 2018 (edited) 45-27 down If this performance doesn’t make the manager make changes nothing will. Season Over Edited August 1, 2018 by ReadingRacer2017
Crazy robin 2,963 Posted August 1, 2018 Never mind as this team doesn’t need changes according to Rosco. The only thing consistent about 5 of our riders is the inconsistency in their performance.

The top 5 are not a good enough top 5 especially when carrying Smith every single week.
ReadingRacer2017 159 Posted August 1, 2018 So 6 meetings left Home - Leicester, Poole & Belle Vue (twice) Away - Wolverhampton, Poole Realistically 12 more points will be gained = 40 points Will it be enough?
Anzum 250 Posted August 1, 2018 (edited) We have 29 so 12 more is 41. So need to win all home matches. All likelihood Somerset Poole and Kings Lynn will make play offs. So Us Wolves and Belle Vue fighting for last place. If we win our four home matches Wolves would have to win theirs and get 4 points from their 5 away matches to catch us. With regard to Belle Vue they would have to win their home matches and get 6 points from their 6 away matches. So crucial to win ou home matches and deny BV any points. That would mean they need 6 points away to Leicester, Somerset Kings Lynn and Wolves. Wolves would need to get their away points from trips to Kings Lynn twice BV , Poole and Somerset. That assumes we get nothing from our trips to Poole and Wolves Edited August 1, 2018 by Anzum

Anzum 250 Posted August 1, 2018 Maybe so but personally think they won't get 4 points at Leicester.

Reading between the lines, I don't think he's saying it doesn't need changes (certainly if any attempt to retain the title is to be made), but that there aren't changes out there that will make our team any stronger. Big difference. Take a look at Leicester
auntie doris 2,342 Posted August 2, 2018 (edited) Obviously Doyley going to Zummerrzet and Morra having a poor season has been the major difference. Great attitude from Tobi last night, fist pumping in his last 3 rides, after first 2 bike problems. Bellego was untouchable in first 3 then again bike problems. A rare off night for Batch, has been excellent. Fantastic turnout from Robins fans. If only all meetings were like that speedway wouldn't be in such a state. auntie doris 2,342 Posted August 2, 2018 Recent tweet from MP Tomlinson, further meetings on stadium to be held. The council want assurances. Will wait and see then.
ReadingRacer2017 159 Posted August 2, 2018 Rider Report - August 2018 Nick Morris Has failed to deliver as a number one, his average dropping below 8 as a result. Home form has been decent until recently, away form has been below what is expected. 2018 Grade • 6/10 Keep for 2019 • ❌ David Bellego Can look unbeatable one meeting and awful the next. Still a quality rider at Abbey Stadium but too unpredictable away. 2018 Grade • 5/10 Keep for 2019 • ❌ Adam Ellis Such a different rider to the one that started 2018 in Robins colours. Faster and more mature, I predict big things for Adam. 2018 Grade • 8/10 Keep for 2019 • ✔️ Tobiasz Musielak Started the season as a heatleader and did pretty well considering. Always looking for the pass and so stylish on the bike, will only get better. 2018 Grade • 7/10 Keep for 2019 • ✔️ Troy Batch Has improved his starting average greatly and proved all the doubters wrong on and off the track, only one bad meeting in 2018. 2018 Grade • 9/10 Keep for 2019 • ✔️ Zach Wajtknecht This boy has the potential to be the next Lee Richardson, he can out-gate the best. Doesn’t get enough recognition but is happy to go under the radar. 2018 Grade • 8/10 Keep for 2019 • ✔️ Jack Smith Out of his depth but a good gater, just needs faster machinery and few more years in Championship. Could definitely see him becoming a Robin again in the future. 2018 Grade • 4/10 Keep for 2019 - ❌
thecoombdog 2,367 Posted August 5, 2018 Does anyone know if new averages are issued before the cut off or are we stuck with the averages from start of August now?
