kopite92 25 Posted April 30, 2018 Excellent point for us to take away from the NSS. If only we didn’t give away 10-2 starts...

So compassionate leave which probably isn't covered by that rule. It can be the only explanation. 2 hours ago, TonyE said: Everyone seems very eager to get a rider a seven day ban. No doubt the Aces management will enquire as to the validity of his inclusion tonight. No one is eager to get anyone a seven day ban. The rule stats it. Unless you think we should allow rule breaking?? Just to be clear, I don't agree with it.
geoff100 1,432 Posted April 30, 2018 Mean while in the real world if u produce a "sick note " to miss work u also have to produce a note to show u are no longer "sick" to start back at work.

Belle Vue no doubt weakened by having no Worrall but it's unlikely Charles Wright will have another stinker of a night again considering the form he's been in this season. A good well earned point it seems. You're quite right Najjer, cracking match, Rebels fully deserved a point. Doyle was class, Holder really quick too. Very impressed with the reserve Jeppesen, first time I've seen him, carried good speed all night. What a race that heat 15 was, riders 4-a breast coming off the 4th bend lap 1, brilliant stuff!
ouch 1,197 Posted April 30, 2018 Great match again with plenty of exciting heats and all run in a quick and efficient manner. I handed in my form to join the new supporters club, sounds good. The seven day thing was implemented last year just to have another pop at The Aces. Even though it’s now in the rule book it wont be used, well not until another pop is required. Now if this was Poole trying to pull this off their would be uproar. .
Gunner85 603 Posted April 30, 2018 Charles Wright had an Off night to say the least... after scoring well last week for the Aces he had a night to forget. He is a talented racer who I enjoy watching.

WalterPlinge 657 Posted April 30, 2018 The official reason for Lawson and Howarth missing recent meetings were Howarth -" Speedway injury (bruised thigh) supported by medical certificate" Lawson - "Family commitment (Management Committee approved)"

I'm saying that people are taking the Lakeside statement as gospel, yet it's worded poorly and could easily be misinterpreted. I'm led to believe Lawson wasn't ill. Sugarray has previously posted earlier in the thread also implying everything is above board, who is a very reliable poster. Stainlesssteelride 106 Posted April 30, 2018 (edited) A family commitment..that's very different from illness. Maybe Lakeside press officer or whatever they have could learn to be a bit clearer. Edited April 30, 2018 by Stainlesssteelride
