I know there will be arguments when people will say that teams are using a facility to strengthen up but as long as it is a rider with the same average then so be it. The public pay to see 7 riders not the crap that will be served up tomorrow. Last week people were on about how good Rene was by riding and how bad Claus was by not. At least Claus didn't make Glasgow race with a conference league rider. That's at least twice Workington have been left short handed by them racing in Poland (the fours). Surely the SCB can make a stand regarding Dan. I remember a few years ago David Bellego was suspended by his federation when he was going to race for Berwick instead of France. They should be able to say the same to Poland (he races in Britain or we suspend his licence).

It most certainly is NOT a re-arranged fixture. To say 2 or 3 days beforehand that two riders can't appear due to another country, which isn't there "home" nation, having priority is utter B*ll*cks. Newcastle would appear to have expected them to ride if the press releases are anything to go by. They need to be fined and Newcastle compensated as it is bound to affect the gate. geoff100 1,426 Posted August 11, 2018 Its time for "gb" to go it alone the international rule where a home town lad cant ride for his local team who he signed for first so he can ride in poland is why me and thousands more are fed up with this sport ,would be nice to hear if mr godfrey is making as much noise about this as he did our fridays night fixtures ! Diamondlil 33 Posted August 11, 2018 Sparks123 in the past this subject has been brought up re Poland & GB.apparently if riders don’t turn up for their polish team preferring to ride in GB team they get a big fine.
topaz325 1,859 Posted August 11, 2018 Reason given there is no facility is that the riders are not riding for a first division club

andys 224 Posted August 11, 2018 If this is certainly not a rearranged fixture, surely it's a similar situation to Jack holder last season where he put Poland ahead of British speedway, so Bach and klindt should surely be hit with bans for withholding there services.... I'm not sure about the rules so I do stand to be corrected here before I get torn apart...
