Finishers of the Semi Finals finish above non-finishers. Points only count when both riders finish or don't finish Also, I think Eis-Hans is the first Western Rider to have a first pick in a Semi Final, after finishing second in the points standings. I don't think Martin H ever managed that, unless someone knows better?

It confused everyone during the past 3 weeks here in Kazakstan and Russia.
Schwantz34 17 Posted February 16, 2020 Weber was excellent this weekend, very exciting to watch. To harp back to the scoring, the new system has kept the top of the table close whereas Steves old table shows Ivanov and Khomitsevich way out in front with a gap nigh on impossible to close ( with the old scoring). Great weekend for Tim Dixon, debut meeting, and after his Bollnäs meeting a gold medal for being part of the ÖMK League winning side. Many congratulations Tim. He will now stay in Sweden to train, before travelling down to Berlin to ride in the German Championship

steve69 49 Posted February 22, 2020 Disappointed that both Kazakhstan & Finland are contesting the iSoN ahead of The Netherlands who have both Jasper Iwema & Bart Schaap in the ICE Series & a Nation that appear to be bringing along their younger riders. Hopefully 2021 will see either a change or so sort of qualifying system.
