Gunner85 603 Posted May 4, 2021 Derby matches with Sheffield were always great to look forward to in the Hyde road days. Almost guaranteed was a challenge match at the start of the season , home and away , with the Tigers. Keep up the fine tradition !!!!!!

Skidder1 7,637 Posted May 5, 2021 Bearing in mind where some of the riders are travelling from, we still don't know the confirmed line-ups? It surely wouldn't happen that the full 1-7s are announced and then on the day several rider changes (guests/rr etc) are confirmed - would it?!
John Scrutton 180 Posted May 5, 2021 IF the seven riders who have signed for Belle Vue and Sheffield are in the country there should be no reason that guests are used It is the only meeting that day

But they have opened up the 3rd and 4th bend which is another 300 tickets So I expect about 1200 - 1300 which isn't to bad

The first few weeks should see 'house full' signs at most tracks I would think given the reduction in capacity.. Lets hope it's not just a 'dead cat bounce' and can be built on... Shouting about the meetings being 'full houses' may be something worth considering? Doesnt need the details, just the headlines... Might stimulate a bit of interest from those locally who 'used to go'....
