Dont hold me to it but a couple of people have said the new competition might feature two groups of 3

Ipswich, Peterborough & Kings Lynn

Belle Vue, Wolves & Sheffield

4-3-2-0 scoring system home and away once top side into a final

That would be the most logical solution but this is the BSPL so we will wait and see.

I've had more than a handful of people suggest it but as you say It will probably be something completely different

The BSPL 'old boys' seem to be gradually missing from the new Board of Directors with Godfrey, Bates, Louis and Ford(Danny) now making up the main decision-makers!!

Trying to find my preferred riding order. But whatever way I put it I can't help think that Ipswich are obvious wooden spoon candidates!

Home
1. Jason Doyle
2. Cameron Heeps
3. Erik Riss
4. Troy Batchelor
5. Danny King
6. Anders Rowe
7. Paul Starke

Away
1. Jason Doyle
2. Cameron Heeps
3. Troy Batchelor
4. Erik Riss
5. Danny King
6. Paul Starke
7. Anders Rowe

That's cos they are wooden spoon candidate's,,,,, unless at least 2 of Heeps Batchelor or Riss have good seasons.  Personally I would put Troy at 2,,, Heeps isn't the best of gaters,,,

I'd put Erik at number 2 tbh. And I'd normally put the stronger reserve at 7, but in this case, Anders doesn't have enough experience at 6, but could be a very strong number 7. And I think Paul Stark will do ok at 6.

1. Jason Doyle

2. Erik Riss

3. Tory Batchelor

4. Cameron Heeps

5. Danny King

6. Paul Starke

7. Anders Rowe

At home you want strongest reserve in 8

Anyway,, doesn't really matter what position they race in,, if they have good seasons we will be in the hunt,, and if they don't we won't.

If true, what about Wolves having 2 x RS?

Also even if the RS has to ride at 7, what's to stop the team manager swapping them round during the match?

They would have to nominate 1 of them as the RS and the other would not be part of any regulation covering the RS

Depends on what other regulations are in place that could restrict such tactics

I'm sure we may find out around April 1st......
