Left it way too late this year and booked it on a whim last week - flights to Gdansk was the only option - is there a recommended route to get to Torun? It looks like a couple of buses or maybe a direct train is the best option but advice would be appreciated. Cannot wait.

We have done the train before from Torun to Gdansk, really easy and a direct journey too.

Flix Bus (formerly Polskibus) do a direct bus from Gdansk to Torun several times a day, from about a fiver each way. Sometimes quicker than the train, as on some trains you have to change at Bydgoszcz.

Looks like there is a direct train a few times a day - first class is very affordable in Poland so if available would recommend it for a long journey.

Thank you. We used the train last year and it was pretty much hassle free, very impressed.

What time / day do you arrive in Gdansk? I can then advise train times.

We land at 14:15 in Gdansk.

I've seen that name before, is it fairly straightforward to use/navigate?

14.15 at Gdansk Airport won't get you to Torun until 18.45 by train, so hopefully the bus is a better option.

In previous years the tram to the stadium has been free after 15.00 if you have a speedway ticket so worth checking that applies this year too.

Yeah, very. Book seats online before you go, then get the train from the airport to Gdansk Glowny (main train station). The bus station is directly behind it, literally a 1 minute walk.

Car hire is also not that expensive and it's one motorway between Gdansk and Torun. That's what we're doing.

Flixbus departs Gdansk airport at 16:00 daily and gets you into Torun bus station at 19:05

£5.49 at present

We've fly into Gdansk & land in the morning, booked a rental car which was £80 for the weekend. The drive down is easy & take around 2hrs. Staying in Torun which helps.

Who are the injury replacements going to be? Is Miskowiak still injured? Becker next in line if he is.

SR3. Andzejs Lebedevs (Latvia)
SR4. Jakub Miskowiak (Poland)
SR5. Mads Hansen (Denmark)
SR6. Luke Becker (USA)

Thanking you. So I'm assuming Lebedevs > Thomsen, Miskowiak > Fricke and that's that. Had it in my head Michelsen was out again hence Hansen & Becker but of course not.
