After missing out on Worrall & Kemp, we then failed to get Cook to return as plan B. I can only see us going strength in depth now as there’s a lack of top riders available.

Is that actually fact? I mentioned Cook months ago as a joke in a bid to wind up the Tigers. I’ve not seen anything to suggest it was ever a possibility though.

It was on the cards but he choose against it. Personally would make Glasgow pay to buy him outright and cash in on him.

Major rebuilding job required this season. Probably only see sam, josh and kye from last years side. Would only be fair to give Fredricksen a go after last year. Would love to see wolbert back to replace worrall.

Would Kevin Wolbert's average be 8.00? After his 2016 PL average... Or would he get a new one? Maybe Kevin and Norick at 3 and 4 hmmm, the two Germans :D If you could add Sam, Josh, Kye and 2 reserves that would be a hell of a team... But I highly doubt that would fit would it?

Surely a nice fresh 5.00 for Kevin? ;)

While Wolbert makes Monarchs stronger at the top, leaves them weak at number 7!

Kevin Wolbert 8.00
Kye Thompson 5.51
Norick Bloedorn 4.00

Surely a new assessed average would be needed. We can’t use something from six years ago?

Wonder if it would be a Jason Crump type scenario... Use his average from 6 years ago with certain percentage taken off for each year out... Either way 8.00 is a decent average for Kevin already...

I cannot see why they would re-assess Wolbert's average tbh. It's not like his been injured / retired like Crump or James Wright (although he rode grasstrack), as he's been riding abroad!

Is there a recent prescedence for averages being reassessed (not for injuries /retirements)?

He's been riding abroad. When we signed Ekberg hadn't ridden in Britain for 10 years was still same average as was riding in Sweden. Would be no recourse for reduction just cause not riding here
