What’s up with Paul Starke as he rode for Ipswich on Thursday?

Think that makes us weaker with r-r especially if someone has a off night.Hopefully we might be able to sneak a win.

Extract from Thursday's match report at Ipswich - "......unsettling Starke who goes down heavily but is up and ok."

Okay, updater may not have been in position to know Paul's injuries, but I just don't know quite what to believe these days about "no shows"

Well Newcastle much stronger with a guest & RR.  I think that Newcastle will win , we hopefully can get a point or two, not a track that Charles likes but hopefully we will put up a good show

I think this might just get very untidy for the home side.

Another source more reliable that our own club communications!. I find out more about our side  from other teams social media than from our own.

Real shame about Paul as he has been in some great form around Brough lately. We desperately need the other top 4 to be on form or we could struggle to cope with a very solid Redcar side:

Indeed, that teamsheet was posted Saturday morning on Speedway GB website so assessment about being unfit to ride must have been made pretty quickly after the crash. Hope he's okay!

Good guest for BWD, but Newcastle slightly weaker without Starke, I'll predict a narrow bears win.

No way are Diamonds stronger without Starke.

No good for the club or the sport.  I feel for Newcastle. Weak team made weaker by the injury to Kerr. Bare bones support and not likely to improve unless a NUFC player turns up every week for a meet and greet.

Hope they survive the season.
