I wouldn’t be so sure about that could be double Cook at Wolves next year

Pretty sure CVS said a couple of seasons ago signing CC would never happen as the fans would never accept it

Schlein and Nicholls to fit in that side yet

Sam is captain again next year, I’m pretty sure if Rory was coming back to us he would be. I could be wrong of course but I don’t think so.

Can't just waltz back in and take the captains role from Sam though.

Is Steve Worrall back with you next year?

I know but Pete and CVS reckoned he was probably the best captain they ever had, hard to see them not making him captain again. Not heard anything on Steve to be honest. If Nick goes to Leicester I imagine Steve will be a definite. If not I don’t know, I think we really need a new face in the 1 - 5 to be honest. Was hoping for Josh Pickering but not so sure it’s going to happen.

Can't see any reason Steve won't be back, they took to him and he settled in well too

Not better than "Sudden" Sam surely?

1 to go you would think

1. Sam Masters

2. Steve Worrall

3. 6.31 (Any guesses?)

4. Ryan Douglas

5. Luke Becker

6. Scott Nicholls

7. Leon Flint

Charles Wright 6.25 fits can't think of many others

If that is the team or something like it unless Becker and/or Douglas really step up then I don't see enough heat winners particularly away from home

Unfortunately I have to agree with you there.

We really need a decent second heat leader to back up Masters

Suggestions?

personally I think a decent rider at reserve will make a big difference.

Unless Josh Pickering or Charles Wright come to us I think we’re struggling for options to be honest

Very difficult, Belle Vue and Sheff had good heat leaders and look like doing so again, Wolves don't, I think we need an 8 pointer to back up Sam but genuinely can't think of anyone, all of the potentially available riders are 6 pointers, 7 at most.

Maybe they think Becker will step up.

A good number 6 will help but if its Nicholls or Andersen that might not make a huge difference in away matches

Flint's Champ ave may leave him ineligible to be a RS. Be good if they posted a new RS list.

IS CVS continuing  promoting on his own at Monmore ? I read in the programme at the end of lat season strong hints about him looking for support on the promotional side of the business.

Not heard anything to be honest, I dread to think what will happen when he finally calls it a day
