If a change is going to be made, can't help feeling it needs to be fairly pronto to take advantage of what he is on now. Riss has let them down this year ...more of a big track rider . kevin bass 249 Posted July 15, 2023 I'm sure Riss rolling average was below 6 up to June 13th and will only drop more by end of the month the way he's riding currently.
cowboy cookie returns? 747 Posted July 15, 2023 Did I read somewhere that in a recent podcast Louis did he said Emil had asked about returning next year? If that’s true that’s one piece of good news

If that’s true that’s one piece of good news To make Doyle and Emil work in the same team you will need to find at least a couple of ringers on false averages to compensate. Although it may be good to watch, it’ll never win you anything.

Doyle Emil Lidsey Brennan Rew Hume Kemp Might be wrong but think that fits and although never going to happen shows with the right riders that a strong top 2 works could have had Sedgeman on 4.44 as well lol Edited July 15, 2023 by Gavan

Riss can ride the small tracks as several successful years riding for Edinburgh and Redcar have shown. He was also almost unbeatable around Newcastle. It's not the track that's the problem it's his illness and the fact he hasn't got back to where he was. His Redcar scores have been way down on what would normally be expected from him.

Which are at a very similar level due to all the doubling up apart from a few riders. The fact is Riss can ride the small tracks and isn't just a big track rider like some on here are suggesting.
