As Doyle is one of the top riders in the world you want him in heat 13 getting 5-1s with Emil, not beating a reserve in heat 12 (which King should be able to do). So while you might gain 1 point in heat 12, you'd probably drop 2 in heat 13. Now the play-offs are gone keeping Riss is gonna give him a nice low average for 2024, potentially coming back as reserve? Yeah... It took me a while to cotton on to it, but definitely feels like we are keeping Riss for the remainder of the season... You never know, he might be dialled in by the time the Cup final rolls around in September, although as always, Sheffield will be a tough ask!
Baldyman 6,243 Posted July 20, 2023 I guess keeping Riss shows a complete lack of will to win,,, hope our sponsor doesn't decide to take his money somewhere else being the winner that he is
SPEEDY69 1,260 Posted July 20, 2023 Riss should be nowhere near the premiership next season.

After tonight, there's a 3 week gap until the next home match, and then another 2 weeks until the final home league match = two home meetings in the school summer holidays! Riss is more likely to be dialled in to Dial-a-Disc. Edited July 20, 2023 by Roger Jacobs

Falcon1983 557 Posted July 20, 2023 with the Play-Offs gone they need to start thinking about getting Emil and Jason to get their averages down for next season Jason currently on 9.44 so surely that could get down to around 8.5 if he has a few shockers, Emil is currently on 9.80 so if he has a few gremlins too the club should be looknig to get that down to a sub 9 average surely, let the other rides do their own thing If the 2024 regs are the same 39 point limit with an R/S then you could build 1, Sayfutdinov 9.00 2, Z. Cook 4.84 3, Woffinden 7.03 4, B. Cook 5.17 5, Doyle 8.50 6, Rew 4.00 7, Thompson R/S Could possibly switch Woffinden for Holder

That's courtesy of Kings Lynn, we should have had home 3rd, away 10th (so I booked my holiday) home 17th nd home 24th. Admittedly CL agreed to changes for some reason
