SPEEDWAY IN TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS

Any HISTORICAL information on speedway in TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS please?

I have a vague recollection that some New Zealanders raced there in the mid to late1960s,

My information indicates that the speedway riders competing at this venue were led by Wally Aukram. Midget cars involved were headed by Frank 'Satan' Brewer.

Speedway has never been popular in the Caribbean, so I am still surprised that a country such as Turks and Caicos would even have a track.

I now understand I created confusion  in regard to my indications that speedway took place in the Turks and Caicos.  IT DID NOT. The racing I said took  place there was in  fact staged in New Guinea!!!
