Predictions for Prem 2023 as teams stand ...

Anyone calling Masters a genuine No1 has clearly had to much drink over the holidays.

A genuine No1 doesn't also ride Championship speedway, they'd be in the top leagues on the continent.

Masters is boosted by his home track.

Away averages including BP's in 22;

Doyle 9.87

Musielak 8.42

Kurtz 8.19

Fricke 8.10

Masters 8.09

From that list only Doyle & Fricke can be considered genuine No1's. Fast forward to 23 & (predicted) incomers of C.Holder, Iversen, Pedersen, Sayfutdinov, Masters should slip down the order.

His only saving grace will be his home track & no rider's within his own team to challenge the No1 jersey.

Whereas, Belle Vue, Sheffield, Peterborough, Ipswich (with predicted incomings) have genuine challenges from within their own team to be the No1.

I must say I didn’t realise the difference in being a no 1 and a genuine no 1 was a massive 0.01, Sam really must try harder next year, disgraceful.

For gods sake, you couldn’t make some of this rubbish up.

Why only Doyle and Fricke? Oh let me guess, because they’re in the GP’s.

If he was an out and out number 1....he'd  make the GPs....

I'm sure everyone would admit Jason Doyle is an out & out number one, but he's not qualified for the GPs in the last two seasons (relied on a seeded spot) so can't use that as an example to suggest Masters isn't an out & out number one imo

Kurtz, C.Holder, Tungate are levels above Masters.

4th on the list isn't worthy when Doyle, Fricke & J.Holder are already GP rider's.

Think about it this way, like (potentially) Ipswich has Doyle & Sayfutdinov, Belle Vue Bewley & Kurtz, Peterborough C.Holder & Pedersen, for example, where would Masters be if Lindgren & Woffinden were available to Wolves??

The answer would prove Masters ISN'T a genuine No1, even at Premiership level.

Secondly, there wouldn't be many takers for Masters on his average at any other Premiership club

This is guy has been playing to much Blinds Man's Bluff.Tungate levels above Sam Masters lol . Embarrassing.

Depends what country you’re going on tbh, Tungate has progressed further on the continent on big wide open fast tracks. Masters far far superior in the uk.

Wouldn’t say either is particularly strides ahead of the other really, think masters has better bike skills tho, Tungate is good on big fast tracks because he’s so light and loves the throttle wide open…can’t actually turn the bike tho or adapt to the varying challenges of uk tracks

Surely the discussion is the UK? He’s talking absolute bollocks by stating Masters isn’t a genuine number 1 in this league when he blatantly is. This is similar to “Holder Fricke and Kurtz are now better riders than Doyle” that we heard last winter when the fact is those riders aren’t in the same stratosphere as Doyle in this Country. There isn’t a single fan of a UK club that would pick Tungate in their side over Sam Masters.

In terms of number 1’s in the league as an Ipswich fan I’d only take Doyle and bewley ahead of masters at Ipswich

Sheffield look the best and its between Wolves and Kings Lynn as the worst... Wolves have a massive home advantage which should see them finish second from bottom
