Belle Vue Colts v Oxford 12 May 2023

Recommended Posts

The Colts are going to be without Paul Bowen tomorrow night, but is this a first for a rider's absence?

"There is one change to the home heroes’ line-up, with Paul Bowen absent because of being summoned for jury service. Royton racer Jack Shimelt will guest for him at No.6."

Guessing Jenkins must be a doubt for Oxford after his broken nose at Ipswich tonight. Would be a huge loss.

Who kNOSE

Maybe a 9 day rest if it comes within concussion regulations, be a big miss as he's well on form at the moment

Maybe the first time it's been confirmed as an absence  . I've done it myself,  it happens to many of us but, usually ends about 2.30pm each day.

Oxford has confirmed that Jenkins is fit to race, so that's a relief.

Belle Vue Colts: Jack Smith, Luke Muff, Sam Hagon, Matt Marson, James Pearson, Jack ShimeIt, Freddy Holder.

Oxford Chargers: Jordan Jenkins, Jacob Clouting, Henry Atkins, Jody Scott, Ryan Kinsley, Luke Killeen, Jacob Fellows.

Another shambles safely tucked away in what is going to be a long list by the time we get to the end of the season.
