Who are you referring to?

Connor Bailey who scored 12 points on Sunday including 2 wins in heats 13 and 15.

its because the prem is far weaker than the NDL   true or false ?  remember its our first season back , also just how poor the team on its return in the 2nd era .

Actually it's the 3rd birth of the comets, 1970 to 1981 , 1999 to 2018 and 2023 to ??  Plus Glasgow borrowed Derwent park in 1987 until they got thrown out in poo gate fiasco !!!  Also about 6 very junior meetings were held in 1985

Think the present day national development league is very competitive, where heat leaders don't get it all their own way, with some very good 2nd strings and reserves, all which imo brings good speedway, yes we all would like the comets to win, but speedway is back and enjoy the ride. While watching the riders develop and we may see the next Dan bewley coming through the ranks , one of these imo Aston boughen at 15 years old looks very promising

Just been confirmed by the club that start time stays at 3.00 said the looked into a time change, but due to unavailability of medical and track staff and rider availability, the time stays at 3.00 details on social media and website.

Record the GP and get down to the Northside arena :D. UTC

Just had a look on the comets page on Facebook, some people really don’t understand a speedway track. Just because it says sunny from 12:30, but my guess is it won’t be judging by the sky here, doesn’t mean the track will be fit to race. Similar situation to Redcar the other week. Been chucking it down all night and quite heavy at some points too, so can imagine the track would be very tricky to say the least, correct call. Anyways, getting to august and having our first home rain off isn’t bad going considering the great Cumbrian weather we’re all used too.

Another reason for early call off is to stop Kent riders and others from travelling or not travelling as far before a call off, sods law as writing this it's stopped raining and starting to brighten up, but damage already done with rain over nite
