Robert uses his 2019 average and they consider it assessed.

Jaimon uses his 2019 average and they consider it NOT assessed.

Robert signs last year complete with 2.5% Brits reduction 7.81 down to 7.61

Robert signs this year WITHOUT the Brit reduction 7.81

They make it up as they go along.

Lambert's average being different than last year confused me greatly

Cooks average is his 2023 Champ ave converted, but will become a rolling ave in September!

Craig Cook had a 2022 PL average 5.05 which wasn’t used when signing for Leicester. He used his Championship average 8.94 divided by 1.5 = 5.96

Ben Barker had a 2022 PL average 4.42 which was used when signing for Ipswich. His Championship average 7.80 divided by 1.5 = 5.20 wasn’t used.

This has happened with other riders like Simon Lambert and Drew Kemp. It’s fair to say there is zero consistency in the application of the rules.

The decision on whether an average is deemed assessed seem completely arbitrary.

They absolutely do.

Of course they do...

They have regulations. ..

Then, regularly, along comes something that, when the regulations are followed, kicks out a situation that the vast majority then say...

"That cannot be correct"....

Hence we often have contradictory decisions being made, that go against any custom and practice...

Often "in the interest of Speedway"..

A more, less suitable phrase, it would be hard to iimagine, as this alone will alienate so many fans..
