Agreed. However at the time of the stoppage Kemp was well clear and was on his way out of bend two last lap sufficiently clear that there was little chance of him being passed. By rerunning the heat he reset circumstances which is his right to do but on this occasion was wrong to do so.

I don't really understand why he got the nod for Heat 15 instead of the skip.

Well, that was closer than I expected! Harris, who's been poor for Glasgow, made some good starts tonight, Klindt looked like he was trying as well. Both No.1s were a let down, but Lidsey, wow, surprusex he's not more bloated as he surely struggles to pass water, the epitome of the phrase 'gating tart' 😁

It simply shows how speedway has now followed other sports (and perhaps society in general) with attentions spans of a goldfish. The season is in late May - it started in earnest in early to mid April - yet we have constant demands for 'oh this isnt good enough and we demand change' - Change for changes sake often backfires as some football cliubs are finding out! I still find it (insane) that a current up and coming rider won't get a spot - given to an ageing has been - no disrespect to Kennet here but thats what he is!
