The clash of what many see as the bottom two clubs. Scunny built to win at EWR, Redcar, reeling from the loss of Charles Wright having to rely on the help of a ring rusty Kyle Howarth and the cunning of Gavin Parr. I’ll go 45-45 with Rambo getting a paid max. Or maybe 65-25

This northampton situation is the strangest business model I’ve ever seen annd I know I’m not alone, apart from buster and his digger what is going on ? Were they pushed into making a decision to run by the time scale but haven’t actually secured the finances to run yet ? How do they expect to attract a fan base from the local area when nobody knows it’s actually happening, opening a new sport to an area that’s not really got a history of it and making it a success is hard enough but they seem to be giving themselves the worst possible start to achieve it, -

Press & practice day on Thursday for the new look or old look witches depending on your view point. Any way the new era starts. Thoughts on the season ahead? While I can’t see us defending the title I don’t think we will be a poor as some think. Wr are going to struggle at Belle Vue & Sheffield for sure. -

Ah right yeah, it did get known as “The podcast”, but yeah No Brakes No Fear is the actual name. Glad you enjoyed Bruce anyway, I’m hoping to do more stuff like that during the season this time rather than in the winter as has been the case. It’s great there are other podcasts around now which weren’t there 5 or 6 years ago. Personally I think we need more club specific podcasts / YouTube channels, either official club backed or just fan based ones. And for those podcasts to collaborate with each other and not see it as a competition. People will watch and listen to more than 1 thing, and what’s clear is if you watch or listen to 1 speedway show you’re probably going to listen to more, the stats prove that. -

Like I said I don’t use the British speedway website, I’ve probably heard the bits played in the stadium in the background but can’t say I’ve actually listened to what’s being said and didn’t realise it was part of a podcast, the only radio station I listen to is planet rock and more the point is as much as I love the sport I rarely listen to podcasts about it, I think I’ve listened to 2 that I can remember, 1 was rob godfrey on 360 podcast which was the say nothing I thought it would be and the other was Bruce penhall with your good self which may of been on the said mentioned podcast, I listen to podcast most days but for whatever reason just not speedway ones, like I said initially I hadn’t heard of it was probably because the poster had called it British speedway podcast and not no brakes no fear which I had heard of but not listened to, anyway the fact that it’s not for me is irrelevant, it serves a purpose in the sport and getting rid of it is a mistake but not surprising
