All a bit unsavoury this. The kid is 17 years old, cut him some slack.

Many had heard whispers about Cairns and his attitude before he hit 15 and it seems he only got worse once he made his Championship debut. That lap of honour of Poole during his first meeting...calm down lad. Was completely over the top and could have been construed as youthful exuberance, but we have seen since from his other antics that it's all about a show with him. He does it in completely the wrong way though. The screaming at himself before the race starts as if he needs to show the fans that he cares. The riding over other rider's gates, the pulling of cut-outs, the snarky comments in post match tv interviews. The list goes on. He needs to pipe down and just concentrate on his racing. The worrying thing is that he already has a mentor in Hancock but it hasn't calmed him or changed his attitude. Either Greg is just concentrating on the riding part, or he is passing on wisdom to Will but he isn't listening.  The lad has serious talent but it isn't always about that. I worry that as his head gets bigger, he'll soon come up against the wrong person and he'll get fenced. How he reacts to that will show what kind of person and rider he is going to be.

Seem to recall Berwick signing Jake Allen on a 5 point average, Aussie's were then reassessed to 7 points for that season only so Berwick didn't sign him. It does appear to happen that the rules are changed to suit certain teams

Don't forget all the money daddy is throwing at him 😜 like Hancock as a coach on god knows how much £s. Can remember a couple of years ago they hired out Northside for a day along with Hancock in tow .  Sometimes you can have the best of everything but need talent and most of all a good attitude to become better, not knocking will but seems to have a bad attitude compared to the likes of coops 🤔

And then people complain that riders have no loyalty to their club and go where the money is waved in their face. Sod that!
