No! No! No!... 15 Heats, Seven rider teams!! It's the only way!!! I remember several years ago they devised a formula which meant the best riders rode against esch other more often in a meeting.. Some of the best racing I have witnessed in many, many years.. And then they stopped doing it.. ????????  

According to someone (can't remember where I saw it) but the Updates site couldn't get an updater for last night (Fri 3 July). The good ole BSPL didn't do updates from Scunthorpe last night and still (as at 11am Sat 4 July) haven't put the results from last night on their website.  Their are no reports from last night either, or previews for tonight's matches !!  

It's only one day so far but I wondered what happened to the Speedway Updates site yesterday - three matches and no updates. My fear is that because there is a new updates facility for referees to transmit results to the BSPL website, someone has decided that the old unofficial one should drop out. I think that would be a great pity because: 1) The official referees' version isn't always reliable, some of them don't use it, and... 2) It's easier to comment on the old Speedway Updates site. I realise officialdom does not like fans commenting. One thing I did discover - it's not easy to see where I could have asked this question on the old Speedway Updates site!

The big thing is that the football crowd use the car park at Owlerton stadium.

Yeah, the saltiness is strong with this one.    Ipswich being owned by Mayfield and part owned by Wroclaw has gone down about as well as a fart in a spacesuit up Manchester way. 

Only if they were programmed to ride against each other... there is more than 1 way to run a Speedway meeting 🤔
