Poole were almost a point below the limit. Using Foord would still have left them well I feel the limit. It was a straight choice Starke or Foord. -

Foord had a higher average than Starke at the start of the season, wouldn't have given the team any points spare to strengthen elsewhere. -

Or simply a promotion that is passing on its experience in growing its fan base to give Worky a fighting chance of becoming the success that it deserves to be. Since the Facenna's took over Glasgow, they have spent 10 years trying to build the fan base in a city that only see's green or blue and have seen what works and what doesn't work, if Worky can benefit from that 10 years experience along side the business experience of Allied then that can only be good for British Speedway.
