Why has Lawson pulled out? Shows how low speedway has fallen , reaching a British final was a huge accolade … now riders don’t care …. Let’s be honest Lawson is at the journeyman stage of his decent enough career .. better to see a young gun in my opinion 

A similar idea was proposed a few years ago. A European cup, with the best two teams from England, Poland, Denmark and Sweden. Not sure how it would have worked through with "international doubling up"      

Stock cars have gone because the area they use for pits is now being used as a battery storage facility for solar panels. Only about 3 stock car meetings ran there each season (none last year) so it's a no-brainer for the owners really - rental income 365 days a year or 3 times a year ?

I think If Jack Smith can hit the ground running and Sam Hagon, who showed an upturn in his recent form at Leicester tonight. Also Kemp on fire tonight. The only worry would be Hume. Looked woful tonight. Only managing three pts in a very weak field. 

Lewi Kerr finishes 5th in the semi final and qualifies for the British Final, which I believe Richard Lawson has pulled out of 

4 riders in the British Final and 4 riders in the U21 Final, pretty good going for our riders
