I gather Paramount are entering the fray for Warner Bros..
There may be a difficulty for Netflix over competition, there are those who think it would make Netflix too big.
May even be breaking competition rules.
Just a gentle reminder Iain, Brian was a fine rider for the Sunderland 'Stars' for roughly three years in the early 70's.
This is very sad news.
Brian was a very good rider who put 100% effort in to everything he did. Riding, managing and promoting.
He was a very tough Yorkshire man who was a regular attendee at our Sunderland Speedway Reunions. I got to chat to him a number of times, both at Redcar and at our Reunions.
I respected him.
My condolences go to his family and friends.
R.I.P. + Brian.
You, of course, are entitled to your view. You also are entitled to point out the counter arguments. The only criticism that I have of your Post is that some of your wording seems very uncharitable to someone who has tried to do some things differently. I certainly could not have come up with something like that. Who knows that someone may look at this and come up with a system that would work. At least he has offered something, you and I have come up with nothing.
I believe that Falcon1983 should be applauded, not vilified.
I think you have put an awful lot of work into this.
You deserve, at least, consideration for your effort.
I think it is a possibility - but crucially - you have not got all the riders that you quote, Steve Worrall, Retired, Brady Kurtz are just two examples.
I do admire your enthusiasm and your work.
Well Done.
Unfortunately,"Like Speedway, get into the modern day!!!"
I don't think so, Speedway will have to do something really special to bring it forward, so that is comparable with the 60's, 70's, 80's etc..
I honestly believe that my generation of Speedway Supporters had the best the Sport had to offer years ago.
Sorry - but that is how I see it.
