  1. Kennett generally is pants anywhere other than Eastbourne Rye House and Lakeside, unfortunately none of which are in the Premiership. Not convinced this change helps Ipswich.

  2. I also enjoying watching R Lambert race, and British speedway will be all he poorer as a spectacle without him.

  3. My best memory of Bellego as a witch will be when he pipped Schlein on the line in the BT meeting, what a ride!

  4. No you’re not a lick arse, just an arse. And yes you can have an opinion but if it’s a loads of cobblers as it usually is then expect people on a forum to pick it apart.

  5. Make sure he’s paid his tenner before you launch him back over

  6. The troll comes out with similar obsessive predictions on the Swindon supporters page on Facebook.....apparently Dan Green is classed as a fan on the up lol hilarious considering he never actually goes!!! But of course ReadingRacersFan/Zagar Racing and his many other aliases would deny they are the same person...

  7. 40 years on, what an awful day. I knew it was bad on the night and remember seeing the news report in the paper. Sad day for Steve Weatherley also should be remembered. RIP Vic

  10. Scores from https://sportowefakty.wp.pl Harris has just won his fourth ride, beating Michelsen. Fricke is first rider to defeat Bellego a heat later. https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/relacja/95357/ for the France meeting. https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/relacja/95355/ for the Glasgow meeting.

  11. Please come and say hello so I can launch you back over the wall out of the stadium, not wanted , not nice

  12. Depending on who Swindon have in for Zach, it could be a big 4 PL points for the Robins - hope so anyway

  13. Have you tried all that travelling? If he had give up the UK this season you would have probably been having a go then. At the moment in British speedway you have to enjoy the riders like these as not many will race here anymore. Whilst he has had a poorish season by his standards I like many others still enjoy watching him race.

  14. Not an excuse, but a reason. Anyway as somebody who only ever posts negativity and moaning at least you’ll have to find somebody else to whinge about if (when) Lambert drops the UK next year.

  15. Meeting now postponed (and it's still raining whatever anybody else says)

  16. To say I empathise with this is an understatement. That is why I am in Edinburgh and not dashing down the country as I did for so many years (and enjoyed at the time).

  17. Echo that My lad in the middle of his GCSEs had to stay at home with grandprents rather than come away on holiday with us during the half term because of the pressure to do extra lessons and revision Personally Im not convinced the approach has benefitted him too much. A bit more fun and relaxation couldve put him in a better frame of mind and helped him just as much

  18. looking at me and the crowd around me in the old grandstand it would be almost impossible not to be "younger and prettier" !!

  19. I find it hard to imagine that Kennett will be any worse than Bellego has been. Obviously has a massive issue with the Foxhole track and going forward that would have been a big problem. Time will tell but I reckon this is a punt worth taking.

  20. Just a complete p**** who thinks he runs the thread

  21. Depends on the agreement between the rider and the club he's guesting for. What the injured rider he is replacing earns has got absolutely nothing to do with any arrangement made.

  22. Rerun videos would of filmed it Trees !!!! look it was not a classic by any means but the racing was really hard fought .The new track really has the potential to be a really good racetrack, unlike Poole who have holes in there track that would swallow up a elephant.

  23. To be fair Steve, you should see the amount of homework... Not sure what they actually do at school!!... My lad has been in over ten times during the past two holiday breaks doing 'compulsory revision', including Saturdays... "Eeee, it's all changed since I were a lad" etc etc etc.

  24. Half?!!! I think only Reading Racers Fan would want him to stay .....

  25. You dont think that riding at 3 or 4 that 8 points is enough from 4 rides? Your number 1 and 5 should be getting 23 or 24 between them and then your number 3 gets 8 , you are on 32 points and doesnt leave much for the other 4 to get to win a meeting Scott for Wolves scored 11+2 9+2 12+1 9+2 13+1 away 9+1 away I would suggest most teams would be happy with that return from their third heat leader

  27. Great to see both Craig and Robert getting through. The Challenge final is going to be some tough cookie to get in to the SGP.

  29. Fricke wins the re-run with Harris second. That's the top 3 sorted, no one can catch them. End of updates from me, I'm going to the pub.

  30. Jeremycorbynfan, Readingracersfan, Zagarracing, Mattfordfan, Morfs into KKS from around 8 years ago. For those interested, he/she is a Peterborough fan and used to fawn over Kenneth Bjerre ( hence KKS....King Kennet speed). There were the usual numerous identities in those days too.....King Batchelor speed, MJJ ( his/her love in with Michael Jesper Jensen) LinusSunstrom was another one. Tiresome post? Tiresome poster....

  31. It would have been better had Laguta not got so close to his own riders back wheel. It would have been much easier to miss the back wheel than having to control the bike after having hit Lampart's back wheel. There then wouldn't have been the injury.

  32. I think you are spot on Baggy Whilst there is certainly a better rider inside there than we have seen from Bellego at some point you have to say enough is enough a try someone different Eddie may not be a guaranteed success but Id be amazed if he doesnt at least match Bellegos scores to date. Indeed aside from knocking a team mate off as well he cant do worse than the zero return we got in some of the meetings so far.....

  36. I think there are enough Australians already in CL in particular and some Clubs seem unable or unwilling to give British talent a chance. May be we should get all capable British riders a ride first and then seek Australian permits and then EU riders. Some clubs are bringing very young Australian riders over who have very little 500cc experience in Oz whilst some good NL lads would be far better options.

  39. In his first 2 heats on Thursday "Barry" was shutting off going over the start/finish line.... yes the track was iffy but it was there to be attacked. Easing off made it harder to ride. Tbh he's been poor and given enough time to sort out any issues. Not once has he been out after the meeting practicing. It was mentioned this week that there was a good 40 mins track time available and only 2 Mildenhall riders used the opportunity. Maybe the reason this week is clear. His score at Belle Vue helped us gain a point but maybe that was always going to be his last.....

  40. Wright is irreplaceable, suspect RR for Wright and a guest for Hans and Bates. I suspect Hans will ride tonight’s and struggle and put his comeback on hold

  41. Not a move that I, personally, would have been happy with if it was my team. I think it's a panic move based on numbers. Bellego looked good at Belle Vue and would have found form. Kennett is ok, but seems like a pointless change made for change's sake.

  43. No Richard, but most on here wish you would

  44. I doubt Hans would have scored many more if any more than 3,,,,he would gone out in heat one rode like a girl on a track like it was last night. And then would have thrown his toys out his pram all night

  45. Why? Practice is not compulsory. FIM just needs to make practice compulsory. But with the current TV deal in Poland it will only make things more difficult. FIM needs PZM and vice-versa.
