That's the first match I have ever seen where almost every prediction everyone made turned out to be wrong! Best match I've commentated on in years.7 points

I confess I am with Mimmo, Geoff and Iris123 here. I have seen great races and good meetings, but no more than here. The best riders do not necessarily result in the best races. That said, I would like to go to see a match live as the atmosphere must be something to experience Each to their own. I understand and accept that many see it differently.3 points

Question is how is he cheating, engines, fuel and bikes are checked, especially at GP level, whatever he has is not visible to the eye, it can only be some sort of ignition system but it’s well hidden whatever he has, his general speed can be put down to good engines and his size and weight but it’s the fact that mid race he seems to find an extra gear no matter which part of the track he rides and that’s the bit that raises suspicion2 points

It’s seem silly only to only25% in the stadium,if you are not going to spread them out round the Stadium.Waste of time.2 points

No one can replace the reserves( the Poles do not call them reserves just 6 and 7 and 14 and 15).one reserve can replace the other reserve but only if team is 6 down. Edit the no 8 could replace the 6 and 7 and 14 and 15 providing he is Polish U 212 points

I’ve been a little underwhelmed with Poland so far but acknowledge that it’s early days and that there hasn’t been a meeting in a full stadium yet. It’s been like most other speedway, mostly FTG’s with a few good heats thrown in and an occasional very good heat. Those very good heats are so good because the tracks are fast and the riders are top quality, a high speed good race will always trump one on a small track or with lesser riders such as NL in my opinion because if the skill levels and the extra speed which always makes things look much more spectacular but it is very much each to their own. One thing which has been lacking so far is a close meeting until last night, there have been far too many one sided contests.2 points

But the government has still not created the mess as you would like to imply. Is Black Lives Matter their creation ? NO. Or did they tell revellers to disobey the restrictions that they advised, using evidence of the responsibly scientists. NO.2 points

Yes because of the Covid crisis they have introduced a guest system whereas Extraleague teams can borrow up to 2 riders from lower leagues this is the Google translation of the rule To take part in the 'guest' competition in PGE Ekstraliga, the player must be a DM I League or DM II League player (including loan) and have the club's permission to participate in DMP competitions as a 'guest'. An extraliga club player loaned to a club participating in the first or second league competitions or an extraliga player who made a final transfer to the club from the lower leagues in the 2020 season cannot participate in PGE Ekstraliga matches as a "guest". Up to two "guests" in a PGE Ekstraliga match can appear under the starting number 1-5 or 9-13 according to the detailed rules of RPK: one without additional conditions one only in cases where the conditions set out in the DMP Regulations are met, i.e. only if at least one player out of five with the highest individual average (SI) in the composition of the club's staff current on the day of the competition is found positive for the presence of the COVID coronovirus -19. Rules regarding "guest" from RPK: Points scored by a player participating in the match as a "guest" count towards the match score throughout the entire season, a player can represent the colors of only one extraliga club as a "guest" if in a given season a player represented as a "guest" the colors of a given club, he may change club colors on the basis of borrowing to a club of a league other than the given club or only to that club in the given play class he represented as a "guest" "Guest" is counted to the required by number of players in the team's composition the extraliga club may contract any number of guests in the 2020 season to the club's staff1 point

Don't think any aces fan is bothered what our riders do in poland. Its what they do here that matters. The 2 leagues are miles apart.1 point

I am mostly of the same opinion. But others have a different one, as in most topics . You’ll only upset the others it seems. But both sides must accept the opposite opinion. There are some great races and good meetings in Poland, but I don’t have the patience mostly to trawl through a meeting I have no connection or strong feeling to, in the hope of seeing one1 point

Hawk, you so correct in many aspects. I not particularly politically minded towards any party but goodness sake there were some stars representing the Government on the recent Daily BBC Covid 19 update programme None seemed capable of ever answering a question properly and without disrespecting scientists it was same story every day. Among Normal Conservative reps were PM, Dominic Raub, Priti Patel, Matt Tony Hancock, Alok Sharma to name but 51 point

I watched my first ever Polish League match that I recorded on Friday night on Freeview 64, between Leszno & Wroclaw, and have to say I found it all very disappointing. The races in general were no better than National League standard in this country, and the tractor racing was on a par with what we get here. I'm looking forward to seeing if this coming Friday is any better, which hopefully it will be, but thank goodness I can turn the sound off, where on earth did they get that commentator from? As I said at the start, it's the first time I've ever bothered to watch a Polish meeting, are they normally quite good?1 point

I 'get' with SD lifted somewhat folk are keen to get out and have them some much-needed jollies but it's ridiculous & irresponsible to pack certain beaches. We are surrounded by 1,000's of miles of sand, it isn't difficult to have some coastline to ones self. Maybe I'm being naiive and hope I'm wrong, really I do, but I can't see this behaviour boding well....1 point

Yes and No. Reading the letter my wife received the other day from the Government (She falls into the shielding category), realistically it won't be possible for her to attend speedway in August, if it stats then, which rules me out too. We can talk about sports stadiums putting in 1-metre guidance rules in place, which on paper isn't a problem, but in practice it is. In the case of speedway, there are only two stadiums she visits regularly with me, those being Mildenhall & Peterborough. We've now wouldn’t be able to go to the latter, because of the Blue Badge System, that’s now in place. Mildenhall would still be a good chance for her to see some speedway, but I think we all know from places like supermarkets for example, that once folk are in store, it's a general free for all. So whilst in the case of her going to speedway, to ensure that 1-metre distance was observed by everybody, it would need a lot of stewards to ensure that happened, which of course isn't practical. In my wife's case, for medical reasons, she's not allowed to sit in the sun, and because of mobility issues, that just restricts her to the 1st/2nd bend area, which is our chosen location anyway at this particular venue. What of sports stadiums with grandstands? I sit in one seat, but the seats either side of me must remain empty, which is easy done, but what when people want to keep coming in an out for various reasons? What about the row in front of the one you're sitting in, most stadiums in every sport, you're knees are usually touching either the seat or the person in front of you, so to my mind that isn't workable either. What of the cleanliness and safety of toilets in stadiums? These are just my own opinions, and I'm sure many will disagree with them, and that of course is your right, but I just don't see how sport can start up with any real degree of safety still, as much as I'd love it to, as like everybody, I'm missing it.1 point

Glasgow's decision is the correct one in their circumstances. The very fact of their recent success in filling a compact little stadium so full means that social distancing of regular spectators at Ashfield would be nigh-on impossible. Other clubs, with more-spacious arenas (King's Lynn, Peterboro, Isle of Wight, Ipswich and Berwick come to mind) could probably get their regular attendances in while socially-distanced, if they wanted to. Other places, where spectating is currently limited to small parts of a stadium, might be able (with H&S and landlords' approval) be able to reopen long-closed areas and space people out. But in Glasgow's case this would be quite impossible, and their well-timed announcement is absolutely on the button.1 point
