No negative comments from genuine scunthorpe supporters just the usual drivel from those who don't want the club to succeed.7 points

Tbh I'm missing your point. None of the league matches are on the YouTube. I paid 15quid or whatever, I certainly wouldn't been happy to see it for free a week later. But as something to watch in winter while no speedway I find it a great plan.6 points

Anyway who has been watching the Polish league will know that Musielak is the signing of the league. He should easily average over 8 points4 points

PhillipSR and Fozzie the Eddie Wright Raceway will be a better place next season without you two there , I’ve never known so much negativity from two boring people .Scunthorpe run to a set budget every year and last season when they paid more then they should have on a rider Adam Ellis it didn’t bring any trophies . In very trying times Rob still puts out a competitive side and another plus point you never hear a Scunthorpe rider complaining of non payment or late payment from the promotion for the services4 points

you and your negative mate fozzy should pair up - two minuses usually make a plus - Support or go elsewhere4 points

Totally agree with you Jaizer, I wouldn't pay money to watch a match that would be free the next day! But more likely to pay money if it wasn't going on YouTube for another 5 months!3 points

That's as I see it quality racing is paramount for me rather than the results3 points

Anyone else read it as bassoon the gasso? Just me then. Oh and apologies for encouraging piratetwit chucking his inane drivel on ignore soon.3 points

Not just in the UK; I myself have been accused of "white privilege" on several occasions. A few years ago, a mate of mine applied for a job at a university. He had all the qualifications, and would have been a perfect fit. He didn't get it, and they didn't fill the position. Why? Because they didn't receive enough applications from minorities! How is that "white privilege"? Of course it's wrong to be denied a job because you're not white - but why is it not wrong to be denied one because you are? Particularly when EVERYONE has the same opportunity to apply?2 points

How many times do you need telling? This thread is about efforts to bring back Rye House which began in 2020, and which are still ongoing. Hence the thread is still ongoing. It's not a difficult concept to understand.2 points

So true, you walk away gutted if we have dropped points but buzzing from the racing. Most weeks we are blessed with great racing.2 points

I didn't watch it tbh. The standard wasn't good and hardly anyone apart from the Russian riders has had any sort of training really, as an excuse. Zorn out injured as well lessened the quality. I am not disagreeing with you, as i myself find a lot of the racing tedious at times. But if you can watch the Russian final, which is normally the best or the GPs. Anything else is like watching a few GP riders up against 2nd league riders and a few novices thrown in to make up the field2 points

Yeah have to agree. If you're number 7 doesn't score in heats 2 and 4 then naturally look to replace him in 8, 12 or 14 and give no.7 3rd ride in no 6's hardest ride on paper Team management 101 I'd have thought.2 points

Thank you! Martin Luther King Jr. wanted integration; for everyone to be treated the same. These days, it's like everybody wants to keep us segrated by by applying meaningless and insulting tags on everyone and everything.2 points

Australian Neil Cameron showed promise at Wimbledon between 1972 & 1974 but a move to Poole in 1975 worked against him (did he demand a transfer or was he forced to move under the old rider control system?) Rode for Newport in 1976 but not for long and was signed by White City but lasted one meeting and then disappeared from the scene. Had a nice style and probably best remembered for Mike Patrick's famous image of Neil climbling all over the following Barry Crowson!1 point

I think IOW are incredibly happy away from the mafia and the way they were treated/ hounded i would be staggered and disappointed if they were to consider a return. 5 from last year to return, Iwade replacing Kent and maybe Oxford if they are very ambitious/ have been coaxed into it. Id love there to be a surprise entry but 7 for 2022 with hopefully Eastbourne and Worky to join 2023 would be a decent uptake (providing all current clubs make it that far)1 point

Team if you know it will keep the regulars happy. And probably you when you come just because you think we will get beat so so you can spout your negativity. See your location is York and Redcar is nearer why not go there instead and spread your negativity.1 point

I think Ipswich have a good team for next season - Batchelor excepted. I've never like riders who give up if they haven't gated in front, this is why I also dislike Cook as well. I've always liked Heeps, a trier and able to pass people and Doyle & King make a solid top two.1 point

Will Gary May carry on as team manager in 2022? if so can we PLEASE can stop him & other team managers switching the reserve riders rides, which is only to the detriment of your weakest reserve! Sorry can’t agree with this view. This is what a team manager should be doing working his team to get the best result.1 point

That's a bold statement to make, when two clubs aren't complete & 4 out of 6 teams make the play-offs!1 point

Thing is with Scunny, we always put out a team on a budget, meaning we're financially stable to continue year after year.. teams generally built to win home meetings, win at home keeps the large majority of your supporters happy.. Personally, pretty happpy with the team we've built and should go unbeaten at home1 point
