  1. I guess BSN for domestic which seems reasonable value and one of the overseas streaming channels for GPs as long as you are not too bothered about which language the commentary is. As a few know, GPs can be seen for free on certain overseas based on-line providers.

  2. Can't beat a bit of positivity I can't say nothing about R.E.D. campers as I've not been in the market for buying one. But if I was up in that neck of the woods and needed a new tyre I'd be heading to STS due to the amount of times I've seen their logo on various riders racesuits etc. Embrace sponsors of every club.

  3. They'll definitely be on TV it's just a matter of where, how much it will cost and how easy it will be to get. Pre WBD it used to be free to air in uncontracted territories, not sure if that's still the case these days as WBD seem to have global reach. An increase of £6.99 a month (£3.99 if you managed to get a deal, I did) to £30.99 a month seems a bit steep!

  4. I've cancelled my subscription, £7 a month has been affordable £31 just isn't despite the offer of 50% discount for 7 months. Sounds petty I know but it is unfortunately a harsh reality.

  5. He was also behind a Rye House revival that went t1ts up and had to be bailed out by Len Silver at a considerable financial cost. And also behind the 2002 revival of Wimbledon that also went sour within a few months, as he fell out with his business partner. (Norbold may be able to tell you more. Wonder if Norbold ever got paid?) The aforementioned business partner later got a criminal conviction for fencing laptops and computers stolen from the army. He also recently had a bit of a falling out with the Iwade owners, and as you say there was the "pie in the sky" Norwich showboating, I'd love to see Mildenhall back. One of my favourite places despite the often "unpredictable" track. But I'd be careful who they get into bed with.

  6. Can't see anything crazy in his response. Seems very straightforward and easy to understand.,

  8. But who is now going to take on the mantle of just switching programme channels at the drop of a hat, completely screwing up your recording of it? Or joining a meeting 3 heats in because the tennis over ran? Or even not showing the speedway meeting at all live but putting it on later, (when the Kabaddi has finished)... Add to this who are now going to consistently show the wrong captions for riders, teams, tac subs, scores, rising stars etc? Big shoes to fill...

  10. It will be interesting to see now that British league racing is moving to TNT whether production standards and budgets are done to TNT standards it would be good to have more cameras and possibly UHD coverage This move with Eurosport has been on the cards for two years and I did previously post this would be happening I would wait and see what offers come out as I understand there may be some offers for Sky Sports customers in the near future

  13. Well news this morning is that you won't be watching speedway on Europsoort in 2025 - At the moment i am refuse to pay £30.99 for the TNT sports - I will wait and see on where speedway will be before making a decision. Thank you for being a discovery+ subscriber. On 28 February 2025, the Eurosport and TNT Sports brands will be brought together, with all sports content available in one single destination via TNT Sports. This in turn means the discovery+ Standard plan & Eurosport linear channels are closing. What about my subscription? On your next renewal date on or after today, the price of your plan will decrease to the price of the Basic plan at £3.99/month. From 28 February, Sports content, including Eurosport 1 & 2, will no longer be included in your plan. From your next renewal on or after 28 February, you will continue to renew on the Basic plan unless you cancel in your account before that renewal. If your plan was previously ad-free in on-demand content, on-demand content in the Basic plan contains ads. To continue to access sports content, you can either upgrade your plan to the Premium (incl. TNT Sports) plan before 28 February 2025, or resubscribe to Premium after this date. If you are a direct customer you can upgrade via your account settings. If you are an app store

  14. There's always comments on here about a few riders and their big wage demands, especially Zagar and MPT, just wondered if it's fact, especially as they've got to the tail end of their careers or just a story from someone 'in the know' years ago and it just gets repeated down the line true or not?

  16. They used to stage the Easter Trophy as a qualifier for the Scottish Cup, which was held later in the season. The winners of the Easter Trophy were seeded directly to the Scottish Cup Final, while the losers qualified as the highest-scoring runners-up.

  18. I was the accountant for the Rye House revival in 1999 and I can confirm that we actually made a profit and by the end of the season it was so positive that Len Silver took it over the following year. I will give you the benefit that you are misinformed and you dont have an ulterior motive to slander Steve Ribbons and if you were, could you please withdraw your accusations. To all genuine Mildenhall supporters this is a realistic and probably chance to have your club back so go on the 2nd February and decided for yourself if RoundTheBoards or Rayleigh is right.
