Be better if Mads was in. A Lynn favourite and an actual team mate of Puks at Newport and then Lynn and Pboro. Plus hasnt been retired too long has he, be still able to mix it a bit .

Gutted I can't make it up the line up is looking good for an early season testimonial. Would be great if he can get Kim over to ride for the Wasps. Can't see Mads riding in the actual meeting but wouldn't surprise me if he's over and does some demo races with Kessler.

I think Lawson will have a guest booking ! Puk, Doyle, Lawson, Sedgeman but Mads would be good instead of Sedgeman

I’ve just re-negotiated my Sky package to include TNT. This, for no more than I was paying. Polite negotiation, saying that they took away important channels and you have to pay to replace what you like on them. Price actually was less than I was paying. Speedway and Champions League. What’s not to like.

Hello Singy13 me old pal, hope this finds you well... I am fine, hale and hearty, and just doing other things now... Haven't been on here for sometime, but I do drift in and out, now and then, just for the craic... Take it you still go to the Speedway and the Rugby of course, and did you not follow Carlisle United? If you are a Carlisle fan I may have a few tickets for a game soon if you would like them, Corporate of course... I was down in Barrow not long back watching them, and had a wild night in Barrow Town Centre, yep I couldn't believe it either... I am still in Maryport and I am off to a Reds match soon before the end of the season as I want to go to Borough Park before it gets demolished... Then I can hopefully be one of the first in the new stadium wherever they end up, I have been picking a few more Newcastle FC matches up as well... so been keeping busy... Nice to know I am missed, however, rumours of my demise have been greatly exaggerated... But if I do kick the bucket I will post it on here so everyone knows... Regards THJ

It is good to see him back on the bike of course, but a spin on his own shows us nothing let’s be honest. The real test will be when he resumes competitive action. The same can be said for Doyle also, who has been out even longer. It’ll be nearly 11 months out of racing for Doyle by the time late March comes around, and for a rider his age, it may take a while to get back in to things. I’d expect both to start pretty conservatively by their high standards but we’ll see. Having said that, the type of characters both of them are, it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if they both start as if they’ve never been away either! They’re very similar in character and the way they’re seemingly made so you could argue you’d have less concern with these two then you would most other riders. It'll be interesting to watch their first meetings.
