You have to feel the the Council led the consortium on a little bit.( just my opinion)they knew the situation the Club was in.Edinburgh did make it clear that there was a chance this could happen but thought the Council would look on their bid favourable as it was Industrial land and it was a Community Project in the Long term.

That’s a given, the corruption is rife in most councils.Double their salary on expenses the majority.

It was hardly Prime Land.Industrial at best.

Isn’t it the farcical state of the the sport when fans are bickering over the Quality of GUESTS.Only in speedway.

Like you say the show goes on.Interesting Poland no guests R/r and own reserves for injuries they just get on with it. It’s bad luck on Plymouth but that’s speedway their will always be injuries.Like has been said Plymouth have been a rider short ALL season that doesn’t help their situation.

You have just named 4 who don’t want to ride another is Etheridge,Cameron Heeps?.Like I said why do they not want to ride.It’s their choice though.It’s a meaningless Challenge match at Birmingham tying up possible guests.All I saying is you can’t blame Poole for wanting to put on a speedway match on their regular race night.

Why are riders not wanting to guest for Plymouth then.What other GB fixtures are on tonight.

It’s hardly Poles fault that Plymouth are struggling to put aTeam together,your complaining at lack of home fixtures at your Club.Poole are just wanting continuity and get the season finished.The whole fixtures issue is a farce this season,arranging fixtures around Riders foreign commitments is what is causing the trouble.Riders dictating the sport to their own benefit is the main cause .IMO.

It’s sad,every year you think the fixture list must be better next season,but alas same sh#t -different season.

I agree,it seems like a mid season break unannounced.The sport is struggling to run 20 fixtures in a season now.The power at be have to get the riders availability under control.They just do as the please.Building GB Speedway around riders foreign commitments is doing nothing but harm to the sport.

Why is it taking so long to sort out the Barker situation.Not as clear cut as seems.They are denying him the chance to make some money and help out Plymouth injury situation.

Agree putting out an over the top expensive Team just means you lose more money nowadays in Speedway.

Maybe better to get this season finished before the rumours start.It was Harris last week ,Birmingham are Champions already according to this.
