It's very hard fathom track grading and watering (or lack of it ) during a meeting,it's just a tractor racing demo at some tracks, like you say they seldom bring any dirt back on to the racing line( riders would complain no doubt).Armadale is an exception to this IMO they keep the grading and watering perfect IMO .Never Mind the fans as long as the riders are happy seems be the Motto.

No Berwick rider explains even more -
I have said for years that Averages are killing the Sport, like you say when the big club comes to your home town the fans will turn up see if you can put one over them, with today's structure (guests,r/r,average manipulation etc) winning the league means nothing anyway.

Fixed race nights... early indications!!!

£18.50 at gate,or £17.50+.50p booking fee at Armadale, certainly curtailed my visits as a regular neutral visitor, but if that what it takes to survive in Championship there is no way they would want to move up IMO . -

On paper probably,on track not so sure! -
9-5 job is the answer.Speedway is not the answer if that is the case.

Everything by the looks of it.

Can't see many Championship Teams paying out money to ride and compete Premiership standard, think that is a major issue regarding 2 leagues .Some of these Teams will be struggling to break even on crowds they are getting.

Match Off ,the usual mushroom syndrome, but remember turn up next week if there is a match on!!!

Fixed race nights last year? Have you missed out a comma .

Sensible post regarding changes/ ideas IMO .I am of similiar opinion but being a "forum fanny"" it doesn't count.Average crowds of 750 are pretty hard going at a lot of tracks these days IMO,but run correctly we could get them back up to this level.

It's pretty obvious that clubs need to run on the best night for them, and in a league that comes within their budget, don't think many clubs are making much profit,(if any).

Obviously Championship Clubs could see that it would harm THEIR BUSINESS and stuck to what was working for them.It could probably lead to breakaway movement if forced through IMO.Shambles.
