Does that mean that Cook could not have ridden in 2nd div this season if he had wanted too.I thought it was his choice .

Why not,the WTC had most of theTop riders in the World.As you say though bring it on.!

Have you seen the Teams!!!!! No danger of matching WTC.Cant see it attracting as big a crowd either.

The whole thing looks a wash out IMO .Say what you want about WTC but it had its moments.

Unfortunately technology has taken over in the sport.

Think the racing at Ashfield will improve quite a bit with wider track,IMO the entrance to the 3rd bend was narrow and stopped a lot of overtaking because the following rider although faster could only follow in to bend before trying a move to take opponent coming out of 4th bend which most times did not come off.Should be some good racing.

It really is just 4 men 4 laps if you fancy a night out go along.It cannot be taken as a serious sport in UK. IMO .

Basically that is how the Original NL was formed out of the original 2nd division by becoming a higher quality,but the trouble nowadays there is not the fan base for 3 divisions of speedway.We now have 3 average leagues.

Trouble is that NL is no longer a development League and you get all the mediocre PL league riders hanging around and topping up their earnings and probably being the best paid for doing so Max Clegg & Mitchell Davey as examples (nothing against these guys as they are not breaking any rules).Speedway needs a rethink.

Think the new rule is when James Sargeant goes follow him!!!!

Lack of a weekly meeting is a bigger problem than most Promoters would admit too.Its a catch 22 IMO.Looking at the fixture lists ,lack of meetings in high season( June and July) will affect attendances at most tracks.ONE league would have been a better solution IMO.

keep waiting for it to "happen" for him but seems to be injury prone,he is exciting though and hope he comes good.

Depends on his commitment to GB.Should have little trouble from standard of majority of riders,variety of tracks might be his problem with set ups etc .

Think he is riding in Poland.

The Royal Highland Show is held there.I might be wrong but I think their Society may own part of the land,there have various events held there, Concerts and Raves.There used to be a big Sunday Market but think that stopped afew years ago.It was Motor racing circuit inside the Show ground in the 60's.There have been afew attempts to make it a sports venue over the years but has come too nothing.

Yip.Dont think they want it as Sporting facilities, houses or Airport Extension seems more likely.
