Reading Ronnie Russell's rant in this week SS you can see where the trouble he is ,he trying to blame the Championship regarding race nights claiming the Premiership is the Top League and should have priority,what he forgets is he didn't want to race on lot of the fixed race nights and got dispensation to run some Thursday's which interfered with thr Championship fixture and he is claiming they should bow down to him.Total Self Interest rules again,it will never change.

I certainly would not buy advance ticket,there are so many factors against it,weather,rain off,making the return fixture.They seem happy though with their prices.I used to go quite regular as a neutral but not anymore at these prices.

It really shows up what doubling -up and Guests have done to the sport as they both increase every year it seems. Teams can't use an alternative race night nowadays because these factors on many occasions .

This Lakeside situation is just a shambles,they would be as closing the doors after the cut -off date if they don't make it through.They will still be racing in Dec the way things have gone.

It's not Cooks fault that he was allowed to ride in the meeting they have obviously changed the qualification rules,but to compare it with Stonehewer is wide of the mark as he still rode for Workington all season in that division when he appeared in it.Well done to Cook.

Agree Cook got to the GPs on merit,but has found out that he is out of his depth in the Main Event nothing wrong with that,but his social media Posts let him down IMO .He is not as good as he thinks he is and can't blame bikes all the time,fair play on his win today though,but that is his level IMO .

Yeh I agree,he straightening them up,it is notable that there is a real team ethic with riders and managers talking to each other after virtually every race,in GB riders don't even know what the match score is never mind talking to each other.

What is the point of asking riders to work on their averages for next year when they might not be in your Team.

The track is the most important thing to make a good meeting,far too many excuses are make when track prep is poor at a number of tracks.Its no co-incidence that natural watering by God always produces a good track.
